I have had good luck with my Nokian snow tires. The first year or two I ran Bridgestone Potenza G009 all season tires which worked outpretty well. They provided enough grip to get moving and to initiate some sort of steering, but they in now way compared to a set of snow tires. my 2.2l was spinning them off the line the first year while Zak's REVO 1s would through you back in the seat under acceleration.
my wife (subiechick) and I are in this year. we will take the double bed in cabin 4 if it is still available. Does anyone have the exact amount to send with the paypal fees or should I just send like $110 or something? If someone can answer this before 12:40 am tonight I will pay it before I take off to work otherwise I will just send it out when I get home. Thanks a lot!

We still have that set of studded tires we never used, the studs have to be shortened on 3 of the tires. I think we were going to try to sell them again for 50 bucks, since we don't need them anymore.

Sorry to have bad news to say..... I will be OUT of town that weekend. I think I would go with you if I had the choice... but that might be because I have never done that but I have done the ice races, and I love snowmobiling.

Hmm...should I buy new ice tires just for this... I'm contemplating retiring the LM-25s to just rally-x and then get a "real" winter tire.
I'll be up in Tower, MN at Fortune Bay Resort on Lake Vermillion for a snowmobile trip that weekend. I'd love to ride up and check out the races and cars. Which day are you guys doing the fish fry, bonfire, etc.? Or which day will be the most entertaining I guess?
Saturday night is the bonfire and fish fry. There will be partying Wednesday-Sunday Saturday would be the day I would stop by ^^^
