ice race January 15th - 17th 2010

I am getting so excited for this.

 

a little over 6 inches of ice in the middle

 

if it stays this cold we will probably be driving this weekend or early next week. its making over a inch a day. Looks like its going to be alot of ice and not alot of snow so im going to need alot of cones!

 

i want to "t-bone" you!

Let me know. I have like 9 cones sitting around. Although they are big and might not fit comfortably in my car, so tehy may need a ride up.

 

I will try and bring some cones with....

 

This sounds like alot of fun. I'm a daddy daycare on the weekend. Otherwise I'd be there.

Maybe you guys can help, how should I prepare a car thats going to sit in front of cabin # 5 and not see the ice? lol, last year ruined this year for me.

Hopefully Brian will bring his sleds, I want to be towed, Im bringing a shovel for a hit, and a tow rope. WHOO HOO!

 

9 inches now, you shouldnt have to worry about snowbanks this year because thereis no snow^^

Most people drive on Snows. so, no studs are not mandatory.

Well, besides that 15 minutes of memory I lost last year. But the rest were GREAT!

 

9 inches! Sounds like thickness won't be a problem at all. Now for a nice snowstorm or two.

And I've finally decided to bring the sleds up. Gas is gonna be costly, but it will be worth it. Also, if someone let's me drive their car for a few laps, I'll let them ride one of the sleds.

 

Well, you can drive our car for a bunch of laps. And all I want in return is for you to tow me behind the sled and Im good!

the ice on the right was last weekend and the ice on the left is from a few minuites ago. 9.25 inches of ice. Thats about how much there was last yr for the 1st race, im sure by the race there will be 4-8 more inches

 

So can we just show if we wanted to do this as a day trip?

it will be ready the weekend before, there are a few people coming up thursday also.

 

Awesome! 9+ Inches of ice. I like it. Now Rich just dont go drop that ice block on out the course like the first year. That was kind of a dangerous obstacle.
