Course has not been made out yet. Hoping to get some input from the guys arriving tonight and will get the cones out.
So i would assume you arent gonna plow since there isnt very much snow? that would probably be the best, at least for the few of us running summer tires
dang..no snow. this is definitely going to be interesting. so who is going to be the first to go 75 on the ice and turn the wheel completely one direction?
3 cars here rippin up the lake already! I think they enjoy being able to drive where ever they want since theres hardly any snow out there! We'll figure some kind of course out pretty soon
You should plow out a ring like last year, but this time, plow the whole thing out, not just a circle track. Then go out there with a truck bed full of water and dump it out so that it is pretty much glare ice.
i wonder how this is going to work...being that there is no snow. i remember last year when we got down to the ice you could go faster that 3mph on the track.
well next few days there may be snow falling a little.. pray pray pray... either wya think of it like a big parking lot... ha ha ha
well, i guess those of us with winter tires and studded tires can pile in the people and take them around on the ice then... LOL my tires squeek when i take off on pure ice, but i get going. I bought enough to drink myself into oblivion :munching: for a few days anyway if the driving is for sh!t but what the hell i know, first year going!
SNOW...SNOW...SNOW!! I'm praying now. Are there any BP's within 50 miles for refills of the tank if there is quality driving conditions!? Or should we bring our own...
the course has been plowed and there are 10 cars ripping it uo right now. im off to have ayager bomb and go for a snowmobile ride
Well for those of us who are not attending ~ thanks for the update. All is well here at home dog sitting and hanging with the kids. Have an incredible weekend guys & gals and keep it safe, or as safe as possible. Party a little for us stuck here at home please!
Have the guys with the studs go out and rip the ice up before the rubber only people. It's surprising how much traction you can get on ice that's been roughened up that way (if you have enough studded cars, or cars with enough studs).

Keep those pics and posts coming please! I'm living vicariously through you all who are there and on the way this weekend. :emo: Have fun~
I'm bringing my digital video camera with me. I plan on taping alot of the driving and mayhem. I'm probably going to snap together the footage into some sort of video. I'll have my laptop at the IceRaces to download videos and pictures and will upload them to the t3hw00t.com photogallery when I get back on Sunday... If you want to see last years Ice Race photos, go to http://gallery.t3hw00t.com. It is in the 2006 Ice Races Picture gallery.
