Man I am considering htis.. how late can I join.. the problem I have is the weekend before i am at Giants Ridge.. then the following weekend one of my Techs may be off which means I have to be in the shop...???

4 single beds a 2 private rooms for couples left. Im waiting to hear back from Topher and his wife, Beelo and his Gf. if they take the rooms there will be no couples rooms left only 4 single beds

 

I updated the 1st page, if you want to be switched to a different cabin let me know, i just kinda guessed from what people had last year

 

I don't do a lot of drinking so a quieter room is better for me. I have no idea what everyone else is like so I do not know who that puts me in with... or if that eliminates everyone, hehehe.

 

Lots of people drink, but the drinkers tend to hang in one cabin at night... then go back to their respective cabins to sleep.

 

Ok put me in and I will just take the time off.... I will bunk with mlgez (same room not same bed) as i dont drink (anymore) either.... I will talk to the wifey for sure and get you the $$$ asap Rich... wife wouldnt come cause cold and cars... she wouldnt care less...

 

I like drinking! I don't do much of it lately but i'm sure after Nov.17th i'l lbe doing just a little more of it!

Asking for some friends: are there any fun things to do in/arround Orr? also do they have any nice sit-down restraunts there?

Hey-this is Karen-Rich's wife..anyhow, thought I'd post you boys a picture of the lake..not sure if you can tell or not but it's frozen over all the way across already!!
As for Dynapars friends-things to do in Orr..in winter-lots of snowmobile trails, ice fishing, cross-country skiing, vintage snowmobile race in Feb on the lake. Summer is a lot more fun-hunting & fishing of course, there is the Vince Shute Wildlife Sanctuary just down the road from us that has tons of Black Bears to see, there is a Bog Walk, tons of hiking trails, golf courses not too far away, Vermillion Falls is beautiful, Inernational Wolf Center is an hour away. Restaurants-The Dam Supper Club is only 9 miles from our resort they are good, A&W and a cafe in town, Northern Skies Grill restaurant in the AmericInn in town. Hope that helps.

question: it looks like beds are getting scarce... is there a discounted price for floor sleepers?

1 private room for a couple and 1 bed left, thats it. So the 1st people to paypal me the money get those spots, and those who have a bed and havn't paid yet will get until this weekend. then their spot will be open to whoever pays 1st

honestly though, sleeping is the last thing you will be thinking of at the ice race......

 

I think I went to sleep around 4 the 1st night and was up by 7am

If i bring my dad's sled up there for the weekend can we put a bigger turbo in it?? (matt!?)

 

no joke i think the whole 3 days we were up there i think there was maybe 10 total hours where a subie was not on the lake. :laugh::laugh:

 

A bigger turbo, that inplies there is one on it already.. and well sleds with turboz FTW!!!!

 

Ohh yes. Yes there is a turbo on there! and when that puppy starts to spool! you better hang on cuz it just grips and goes! Fun as hell but the sled as a whole is too heavy for me! (i'm just a little guy) now my f7 on the other hand is just right! btw dad has a Artic Cat 660T! FTW!!

 

Those are some nice sleds! Big turbo STi's, blingin Tahoe's, turbo sleds!! Man, I need to do what your doing :eek4:

Ill have my sled up there, I brought it up last year and it was a blast. Sleds FTW
