^^^ yeah I am bummed i have to wait so dang long... then 5 weeks after that I go back to Australia for a month in the summer surf... woot... wont get too many pics of the bikini ladies... ok maybe i will
ARG!!! it feels like the ice race is next week, my tires are here! but no i have sit here and stare at apicuter of a frozen lake for 2 months. Rich you should give us update pictres of the lake. and hey in the mean time we can plot a sinister course layout
I am pra4snow's friend in the chart, ill take that last spot on the floor of that cabin, thats cool with me, so tell me what i gotta do please to secure my spot, I love my car but not enough to sleep in it
Ok, somebody buy this car for the ice race http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Suba...5QQihZ009QQcategoryZ31868QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
i would so do it but i think i've bought my quota of subarus for the year(just got another parts car today:biggrin: )
all beds and couches are full, im still waiting on a payment from Chux, if I dont get that tomorrow his spot will be open
should be on your way tomorrow. Just deposited a big ol' check today, so that shouldn't be a problem.
bump for that car on ebay. Its ready to rock, and be rocked. someone pick that thing up! its gonna go for under 1500 probably. if I had the cash I'd jump on it
keep in mind, it's in Vermont! Rich. payment for me and Sarah is on it's way momentarily. Thanks! and sorry for the delay.
You guys need to shut up about this. Everytime I see this as the most recent post, I get all excited that there will be another update. You're all gonna work eachother into a frenzy over this and then you'll be all blue-balled over the iceraces for like a month.
ohh its getting closer! this 70* weather we are getting isnt good though. Rich: Spevinator has the check written up should hit the mail tommorow. sorry for the delay.
so any ideas on the track layout? maybe with this many people we should have 2 courses? so we can get more ice time per person.
man, i have lots of piddly stuff to get done before the races:biggrin: , can't wait to see what my little creation can do up there. there's nothing like ripping around the lake until 4am. then getting up in the morning and doing it again all day. yeeeeessssssssss
I wasnt a huge fan of teh oval (maybe its cause my tires lew and i couldnt go very fast on it). I would be in favor of a second cource over an oval
YEA RIGHT, the oval was the Sh1T i know a bunch had a great time on that oval. Justin for sure. That was the best for nice high speed driftos!11!
it all depends on how much snow there is if I will do a 2nd course. I had a hard time keeping 1 course plowed
has the weather been cold up there latley? Its been warm as hell down here. What are the chances if any that there wont be enough ice? And how much ice do you think we need for all these cars on the lake?
i remember last year was warm too but i don't think there will be a problem as long as we don't park every car next to each other in a small group like last year:biggrin: it will get cold and when it gets cold it will be really cold up there:biggrin:
there is still ice on the lake now, but it probably will be open tomorrow. It doesnt take long for it to freeze
Just for reference, Lake Minnetonka had 21 inches of ice last year. That was also considered an unseasonably warm winter on one of the biggest lakes around here. We usually freeze last. Oh, and on 21 inches of ice, they were using the full sized mndot plows to make the ice house roads. I believe those weigh in at more than 15,000 lbs, distributed only over 8 tires.
