im working friday, i can meet folks in forest lake at around 6 or so

This event sounds like a blast, but I wont be able to make it this time... Are there plans to do another one in '07 or is it a once a year thing??

 

well i'll be going up thursday evening, but i am in a diff direction from everyone else so i get to rock the 3.5 hour drive solo:biggrin:

 

We will have another feb 17+18th

 

how many of you are bringing snowmobiles??

 

I'm bringing 2 probably!

 

mine is torn apart in my garage right now, adding a few things to make it a little faster

to your yamaha? That thing doesnt need to be any faster, that thing is a beast!

 

I burned up a jackshaft bearing last spring so I had to pull that apart, and I figured as long as im at it i might as well gear it, then clutch it better and add some more studds, K&N filters, jetting and a little shot of Nos

 

^ geez! last year the sled was the fastest thing on teh lake, now its getting nitrous!

BOOM... oh sorry. I will watch.... from a distance. LOL. That will be interesting to see if anyone falls off the sled... oh theres an idea. Tow a sled behind it , with a really thick rope.

I believe my wife and I could go up thursday evening or anytime on friday. I have not talked to her about it yet. I will keep you posted.

around 6 inches, it was 7 below last night and its supposed to be colder tonight. The weather says theres a cold fron comeing next week also, so It looks like there will be more than enough ice.

who in cabin #2 doesnt drink? some people want to be switched and im trying to get some spots changed around. last year cabin#1 was the party cabin, but this year I want it to be #2 since that cabin will be getting new carpet in the spring, cabin #1 has been remodeled and my parents would like if everyone not crowd in there at night.

Yes, and cabin #1 is smaller... it was much better crowding everyone in #2 at the second ice race last year.

 

well i dont drink. but i really dont care if i stay in 2 or not. so dont worry about switching me out, cuase i will prolly be awake as long as everyone else (like last year)

Jake and I can move... as long as I get a bed and him a couch or other way around seeing as we got in early with our deposits etc...

I dont drink anymore and he doesnt either... and I like to get sleep... ha ha ha

so cabin 2 is the all night party cabin?? hmmm... seems cabin 3 is the largest cabin from teh number posting... but what do I know ha ha

is this the cabin where everyone will just hang untilt ehy stumble to their own or what?? if so I (and Jake) may be up to swap with with a couple of other people in a quieter cabin.... if not no big deal.. got an ipod and earphones... ha ha

 

As long as my wife and I have a bed, it does not matter what room or cabin you put us in. we will be where the action is at!! A quieter cabin my be nice for her incase she wants to goto be early..
