If you can't figure out how to type words into a search engine, then you may want to reconsider engineering as a career. Most firms wont tolerate lack of basic math and an inability to use reference materials to find answers to questions...especially questions about the basic formulas used to do your job. Good luck with your term paper.
When I used to get stuck writing code in college, I'd go talk to my professors. Funny how they were nice and willing to help out. Who knew?
I am not a professor. A professor's job is to sit around all day answering your questions. And, when you get the answer, you apply it to the knowledge you have already. What 17hmr wants is for a bunch of forum guys to write his homework out for him and figure things out for him. He could just as easily look up the info on the internet, or ask his professor. But his professor and Google wont do the math for him. Also, for an integral equation to the task, if I were his Prof, I would tell him to look it up. Odds are he will learn more by skimming pages for info than he would by justly having me toss him answers. Learning how to search and parse information is important.
The self motivated quest for knowledge these days is dying off. Replaced by hand-held self professed knowitalls with **** work ethic and no demonstrable skills. Its the "every one gets a trophy" and "my little precious baby is a genius" BS that has been fed to the last 20 years of children entering this world. Everyone is a genius, they are all little doctors and engineers...you just have to do all their homework and research for them. And they have no desire to learn about the world and how it works. We are honestly reaching a point where it would be a good idea to just scrape the surface of the earth clean and start over.

Hi, we're the Mayans. We don't know f-all about when the end of the universe is, but if you do all our homework for us, we will figure it out. ALSO we invented time and are way smarter than you. But here, figure out this basic math for us..I mean, we are geniuses, and could totally do it ourselves, butlike, we don't feel like it right now. The best part about people that fellate themselves isn't so much that they CAN do it, it's that they convince themselves that their dick tastes like exotic chocolate and ejaculates sugar coated unicorn tears into their mouths.
My sister was talking to me about that very subject yesterday.... something about the fact that they didn't believe in/use leap year... so their calendar is already off hundreds of days anyways.
LOLZ If they accounted for the leap year their calender cycle would have ended 7-8 months ago. So we are all in purgatory.
