IDK what to do next to my wagon ???

hi my names jon i have a 02 wrx wagon that i just bought it came with vf39 turbo 850cc injectors 255 wall bro fuel pump and a oversize inter cooler.

the guy i bought it from said it was pushing 18psi but now its only boosting 13-15 pretty sure its a boost leak somewhere.
i was wondring what i should do next ? as in different turbo or where should i get it tuned or just even a mild tune ???? idk im still new to the subaru world

But more importantly do you have a boost leak/engine issues? Did you ever pull 18 PSI or was that just what the previous owner was saying? Do you notice the car doing anything weird?

 

i've heard of fuji before how do i get ahold of him ? and thanks spunk it was running 18psi before and i was wrong it was a vf34 turbo

 

Sedan front end swap? fenders and bumper cover is all thats needed.

 

I'd start by datalogging the car.

 

Get it to a legitmate tuner to tune it, RS motors, Nuke or bullwinkle.

If you were running 18PSI before and now you are running lower then I would assume something is wrong. Is your car acting weird? Is there any other signs that something isn't right? It sounds like you might have to worry about fixing things before you jump into modding things.

 

i know the seals are out on my turbo and it blows a little smoke and it back fires sometimes but i've know this car for the last 40xxx miles and its always back fired

 

Yeah all of those things would be good to look at and fix before you try to add more to the car.

 

yeah that's what i was thinking i got some other maintenance to do on it to like ball joints and sway bar links
