I already have whiteline. I live them. I bet it will feel way better with new tie rods. pretty soon all the money I spend on this car will come to a price of a new wrx.
Mod money = Price of car That's pretty normal. I just bought the Legacy a few months ago and I've already spent over half of my purchase price on new stuff. When I sold my WRX, the sale price was just slightly more than what I'd put into it in mods.
Isn't twice the cost of a used car called a new car? But just think of all the new knowledge you've gained removing every bolt on the car and putting another one back in with new part...
thats one of the things that is making me not so upset about my car breaking. Get to learn how to work on the car.
You should have purchased the car from WMC. That thing was brand new and didn't have one problem.:laugh: Russ
well, first of all I am not saying that my car is bad. I got it for a great price, there always. Problems with used cars. Even though everyone here say that 60k is nothing for a subaru it is still millage and parts get worn out. I was expecting things to break and go bad, I was just hoping it will not happend so soon. I just know that my next car will be brand new.
Nathan you are great! Thanks so much for replacing the tie rod. I cant believe it took you like 15 minutes to do it. The car still pulls a little to the left but i think its bacuse of the tires like you said. Thanks again.
I have had cars i bought brand new that had problems loooong before 60K miles. The flip side of your situation is at least you didn't have to pay for the stuff that went wrong before you got it at least.
Ok, i need your input and help. Please people who have 02's and 03's, get inside your car and with an engine off shake the steering wheel left to right quickly. When i do this i get a loud clunk from right where the steering rack is. IF i do it hard enough i can feel it in my feet. It seems like Nathan's car does that too a little bit. So let me know how it goes. This might help me track that shake.
