Installing HID kit from DDM Tuning, am I missing somthing?

    I bought these http://mnsubaru.com/forums/showthread.php?t=28257&page=3

    my 02 wrx, plugged it right in cable for cable, am I missing something?
    instructions say something about grounding it, anyone else who order these wanna give me insights
    as i am a rookie and a first time installing hid kit

    i just did it on my '02, but we had uk300 lights

    mine was pretty simple once i fixed all the wiring demons the last owner created

    where did you plug in the short little red and black wires with the plug? may need to be reversed if you trace the wire

    where do you live, i might be able to stop by to help

    i had to flip my plug around and then they worked perfect

    I have a set of Xentec that look similar to these. I had nothing but problems from the start with them. I hear that these kinds of kits are hit or miss.

    my xentec kit was kinda a miss, I like it alot when it works but sometimes the passanger side doesn't light up and I have to turn the lights off and on again.:roll: I emailed the guy (ebay) and he just stopped replying.

    Yes, you may have to switch the positive and negative on your plugs. Subarus tend to run them backwards from everything else.

    you are talking the wires that plug into the existing headlight bulb plug correct? So if I change mine around the occasional not coming on problem might go away?? I guess I'm not seeing where you're going, if one is the ground and the other power how will that work?

    yeah, DDM even told me to just rotate the plug around 180 degrees, did...works like a million bucks

    you mean switch around the wires that go into this blue plug below, correct?

    the plug that went to the headlight plug, my H4 kit didnt have that goofy connector

    yeah mine just had male blade connectors instead of that plug, but just try it in reverse

    I live in Rosemount but usually around st.paul my cuz lives there and i work around there
    I will have to take a look at it this weekend will let ya know if i need help
