Is part #27011AA151 an LSD or an open rear diff?? Been googling trying to find the answer, but I haven't found a part site that says. Oh, and if you know a part site that gives that much info, please provide the link. Thanks.
Non lsd from what i find, you should be able to tell by jacking the back of the car up, while the car is in neutral spin one wheel, if the wheel on teh other side moves the same direction its an LSD, if it moves the opposite, its an open diff.
thx - my guess is that it would be non-lsd based on the models the various part sites said it fits. I'd read over on scoobymods or NASIOC or somewhere that there had to be enough load on the LSD for it to lock up to do that test, though.
No, nasioc isnt always right, if you wanted to do the load test you could jack up only one side of the car, (still with the car in neutral) and spin that wheel, if its pretty difficult to spin or wont spin at all it an lsd
