Here is a center diff taken out of a WRX tranny fitted with PPG straight cuts. I was doing the tranny swap because his OEM WRX tranny blew 3rd gear. The setup is a '02 WRX, TD05H 18G 7cm, EWG, E85, EJ257 shortblock swap.

As some of you may know, the center diff LOVES to fall apart. I have seen this in a '00 2.5RS, '00 Outback, and '03 WRX. To service the center diff you have to replace it. Subaru doesn't sell rebuild kits for the center diff. It's a sealed unit. Well.... then might as well weld the cir-clip that holds it together so you don't have to worry about it coming off ever again.
