its so cold my car sounds like it has a blower??? also it makes a horrible SCREACHING/ whining noise cmoning from the pass side front wheel well when i turn
you win... ha ha its colder then a witch's titty... walking out to the car is worse then jumping in a cold pool.... "I was in the POOOOOOOOL!" George.... Seinfeld
If you blow soap/water bubbles outside, they shrivel, freeze and shatter in mid air... Sounds childish, but it's pretty cool.
Its so cold outside right now that my dog makes it to the top of the drive way, pisses RIGHT on the driveway, then shoots back for the door inside:eek3:
A bottle of iso-Heet, about a gallon of 91, about an hour of waiting, and the car still won't light... starting to have slow turn overs now from trying so much
so who are the know-it-alls who dont warm thier car up today? yeah oil isnt gonna flow very well when its this cold.....
ME! actually I ran mine for about 3 mins this morning... ha ha this afternoon I have to drive it about a block so it will get about a 1 min warm up, NO BOOST!!! ok maybe some in the snowy parking lot.. ha ha I kid I kid
yeah.. I was stirring ya back... ha ha ha... I believe in a little warm up a little slow driving... I like a good screw... but I also like the wife to be nice at first before she goes off like a rocket on me! if you know what I mean.....
It was so cold last night, that my car had piston slap the whole way home... And it warmed up for at least 5 minutes.
BUMP, and... Sometimes, while starting to turn, my power steering seems to stop having power. This only seems to happen when it's really cold. Anyone else have this happen?
My car didn't even start this morning. Serves me right for not driving it all weekend. Time for a new battery.
Not since I upgraded my PS fluid to RedLine. It's a bit heavy right away until I'm out of the driveway, then it seems to work just fine. By the way, I don't use RedLine PS Fluid; I believe it's their D4 ATF. Stuart.
I bought a milkhouse heater from Fleet Farm ($16!), set it on overnight in my detached un-insulated garage and this morning my car even shifted like it was warm! It was pretty sweet. it was cold enough that my house door latch froze inside the door, I had to get my fiance's hair dryer to thaw it out.
Oh and I get to test out the dipstick heater tomorrow morn. first on the tribeca, then a couple hours later on the imprezzzza
the brakes and the power steering im my 94 skylark stopped working, wonder if its still under warranty
Its also so dang cold that I dont know If I can afford to go to the ice races, @ the rate my heating bill is.... expecially since I cant use my brothers pre-payed spot :eek4:
thats why its a deposit, atleast half of what my parents make goes to heating. No one has to worry about that next year since the resort will be closed after deer season next winter.
i only sort of got to school at 7:30 this morning... until i turned off the highway and headed for warmth cause it took me 45 minutes to move south on 100 two streets!!!! damn ice bein all froze on the r0ad n stuff
If you don't show, I'm going to stop at your place on Sunday on my way back and do a quick Ice Race Exhibition in your front yard, assbait.
i just wish everyone would stop complaining about how cold it is. did everyone forget that it was 20 below a few weeks ago. even then i thought it was a nice breezy day out. it doesnt make any sense that when its -20 out that no one says anything. then when its 10 degrees warmer everyone complains. this is minnesota after all. this is only my opinion. so dont start ranting. you know who you are
I started this rant almost a year ago, and only revived it when it got really really cold. You must has winter sadness
Nah. Probably sits inside all day, or walks out the garage door to the car that is already at 70 degrees when cold.
it's so cold that, putting in a transmission with the garage door open for hours sucks big donkey weewee.
So cold that yesterday the voltage in both the main battery & the backup battery for the alarm/remote start lost enough voltage to reset all the stored settings - but yet the car still started.
