No, I know what bill is talking about. 2 cups white flour 1 packet of yeast 1/2 cup sugar 1/2 cup pecans (crushed) 1 retard 1 1/2 cups water Mix the water, sugar and flour in a bowl till thick and lumpy, you don't want to make it smooth. Then using a fork, mix in the crushed pecans. Take the retard and blend him on low speed in a blender then add retard puree to taste. Bake in a bread pan for 35min at 375. Add 10-15 minutes for high altitudes.
The yeast helps to fluff it up, but yes, it is more like a pizza dough or a thin cake than say, banana bread.
yeah you wish you big queer, you and Beth are both messed up, i see you two both trying to seduce me, its "twisted" as you said :ugh:
Threadjacked. <points in right direction for thread> It really depends. But like all forums, off topic is exactly that! 50 posts or not just include a warning. 50 posts is a lot of questions if you don't have any answers to provide! Thats why i don't like it. Post count should have nothing to do with it. Maybe active forum time?
I disagree. Not all of us want stickers on their vehicles that say "hey, thieves, I'm an enthusiast and may have a bunch of parts you can steal from under my hood!" I think the card idea is just fine.
That would actually take more work than setting up a dumpster. I would have to add a new user "level" and then rebuild the whole user base so that when someone reaches 50 posts, they get transfered to the new user level. It can be done and it would take some time, but there might be some easier ways to go about it. Thanks for your support. here to stir the pot a bit?? Thank you for your continued contributions to the group. And Justin, since you are making such a big deal about the ultra top secret list, we will first have to go back to the ultra top secret forum and talk about it first. And since your panties are in such a bunch, Mlgez has already stated the top secret list. We were trying to pull some shady things, but Mlgez busted us. Russ
My bad, let me sugar coat it for you instead: Great work on getting those member cards made. I could have done it in a week, but you simply willed them into existance. Here's your pat on the ass for that. Also, you guys took the initiative and responsibility on getting the LLC into action. Todd was, of course, instrumental in getting his lawyer involved and working out the kinks, but it was a team effort. So don't think we don't recognize that. And the elections for president, VP and board of directors went flawlessly. And it looks like they are springing into action to get this done. And the site, wow it has made some great leaps and bounds in the past 2 years. The front page is better than ever with no misspellings and lots of great info that really speaks mulititudes about what our club is about. You and Steve-o made some great personal sacrifices in getting it done and we salute you. Lots of people voiced interest in helping, but you shrugged it off and claimed inaction on their parts and just spearheaded the whole thing. Congrats on that. It has been a great 2006 so far, and it is going to be a great year with all the effort and changes that have been made. And I can't wait to see where the club is in 2007 and even 2008! Good work Russ, you have my support.
And Justin and Alex's beef with bikerboy really doesn't concern me at this point. I'm too old to care honestly. I've spoken with Matt and it seems the both of us, while we may not be super best friends, we both agree that we are too old for this stupid game that gets played. I don't speak for him, of course. And I'm only saying this because I don't want the typical "OMG, t3hw00t hates us and is the source of all our problems really" nonsense that I continue to hear about. This is me telling you, Russ, that you haven't done jack squat from your laundry list of crap that you all blathered on about at the 2006 Identifix meeting. Sorry if I don't have a whole lot of support for you at this point. But 2 meetings have gone by, and so have their respective 365 days of inaction. Do you really expect me to believe in the 3rd meeting and that this year will be any different? Sorry, prove me wrong. But for now, I'm calling it like it is. You'll pat eachother on the ass for another great year, Todd will tell everyone at the meeting how he started the site on Yahoo groups, then Mark U. will yammer on about rally stuff before you serve pizza. Then you'll tell everyone about this plan you have for an LLC and a president/vp/bod and how we will be moving forward as a club with lots of activity and legitimacy. Then everyone, with their full bellies, will wander out into the parking lot at Identifix to talk for a bit, then they leave. At which point, you have a decision to make. You can either get off your collective asses and put your money where your mouth is, or you can do like you've done for the last 2 years and blame t3hw00t for your problems and complain that you are the only one that does anything around here. And for the record. For public information. And like I've told nearly every moderator on here since last summer....t3hw00t does NOT care enough about MNSubaru to make concerted efforts to cause issues here. We DON"T care enough. It isn't worth our time. We do our own thing, you do yours. We have mutual members, but at no time do I tell members to cause trouble here. They are independent people, just as all the members of this forum are a member of some other forum somewhere. What happens in your forum is your problem. Don't blame me anymore. Because it falls on deaf ears.
I know there is a lot of history here but I am hopeful things can change and we as a group can pull together and move forward. I would love to see a lot of these things happen. I know things have been said/promised in the past. I have no idea exactly what they were or what happened and/or didn't happen but I am hopeful that if we can get enough people supporting these old and new ideas maybe we can make them go somewhere. I think the potential is here. It just needs to be tapped. I for one know little to nothing about LLC and the business end of things (and really don't care to) but I am hopeful that if and when we are ready these things can happen. Lets keep the discussion going but also try and keep it civil.
everything has been civil in my eyes. I would love to see this place become a club. I am more then willing to pay the anual duse if that is what it takes to make this a REAL club, not just a message board. I am more then willing to help and donate time. I just don't know what to do or where to start. If someone knows what needs to be done but does not have the time to do the leg work. let me know what to do and how to do it and I WILL get it done. I am sick of everyone point fingures of whos job it is. I will do it if someone tells me what needs to be done. <--- awaits PM's
and Identifix...really?? i dont get why you guys keep having it at a place that 95% of the people have no clue who Todd is(or what Identifix is). Dont you think you would draw more people out if you had it at a place that most the people on that site knew what it was and knew the owner or the people that work there(IE..meinke(when nathan owned it), grimmspeed, tonka subaru(if they want) etc). Isnt that a bit more logical...honestly i was all about going to this meeting but right away when i heard it was at indentifix i immediately didnt want to get because it just reminded me of the last 2 pointless meetings that happened there and didnt have very big attendance.
They have it at Identifix because it is where Todd works. If they didn't have it there, then Todd wouldn't go. And then how would he be able to say he is still involved?
this is what real forum leaders are for. you need leaders that are actually motivated to do stuff...that is absolutely not happening in this club. for the last 2-3 years the leaders have been all talk and no walk. this is a HUGE reason why i want elected leaders.....you better work your arse off to be a good leader or you are getting ousted(opposed to sitting on your arse year after year not doing jack and getting away with it). right now the "leaders" are all admins/moderators. dont whine about how your moderating job is all time consuming..i know what it is like first hand. in my eyes, actually moderating is the bare MINIMUM you should be doing. you are in that position because you are supposedly looked up to has a leader, you need to step up and do some other things to grow this club(plan events, etc)... its like the groomsmen in a wedding, their base job function is to be there to support the bride and grown...but they really need to get drunk, stay on the dance floor, and keep the party going(or else they arent doing their job, even though their base job is just to support the new couple).
Well the problem with the meeting place is finding one that does not cost much or anything and is not a business associated with this site. We don't have a lot of options at this point. if it is at a dealer or another business on this site someone will cry foul. We try to keep this on somewhat neutral ground. The place we have been having it was offered to us and we have no other ideas at this point. If we could actually get membership to drive I would hold it here. Hell free food did not get very many people to drive out here in May (thanks to those that did come) so I know that will never happen (we will see if that changes when the lift goes in ).
honestly, in comparison to all the other forums i am part of, Mnsportbikeriders, Oldspower, i-club, V8buick, sportbikes.net this place has the most turmoil and behind the scene issues that need to be addressed.
i don't get what the hell is the problem? all i see in this thread is Justin being a baby that the "club" wont do anything with him and grimmspeed and problems between people. i think this forum is doing things right. i just see the people wanting it to be something it don't need to be. what ever happened to if you want to have more group meeting then you plan some? the club shouldent have to pay for it and run everything because it runs and tacks care of making the site work and you don't pay anything to be in the club. as long as when i type the address to get here in and the site pops up and works, then there doing a good job. every Friday and Saterday people from the club meet at Firestone. it doesent have to be put on by the club. its just people from the club going there. its a forum that people share the interest of Subaru's and make friends while being here respectfully. i could care less who the mods are that judge whether or not saying gay or whatever is allowed or not. there are so many other forums out there that if you don't like the way the people that are running it run it, go other places. its like we are trapped into coming hear everyday and things have to go your way or your life will be hell because you have to come hear everyday. talk to people. learn stuff about your car. meet up with people and have fun. why bitch about everything?
wow, you couldnt be furthest from the truth lol. i suggest you actually read the thread first before posting.
then why open your mouth ever on hear? do what you came hear for. learn and talk about cars that you like but dont have not troll around threads saying your normal stupid ass stuff and starting drama. you should of stayed banned so we dident have to see your useless ass comments.
dude.. you care so much about who is running this place and ware everything is. its how it comes off. like it or not. thats why everyone says you are whining
you dont share the same feelings? your the first? he is just about the only one on hear that has no reason to bitch about anything. agree?
