Hey, how many people are bringing girlfriends? I want to take mine along to avoid the extreme nag factor of leaving her behind for my trip to Europe and then this, but she:
1- Doesn't like racing,
2- Hates when I get together with my friends and only talk about cars...

I am hoping there will be some more chicks there to keep her company.

My girlfriend hates racing, hates when all I do is talk about my car, drive fast, drive aggressive.

HaHa! And for my job I work on Porsche's advertising, so when I get home from work guess what I talk about?

Try to bring your GF we are bring our golden retriever also. If you guys are nice I will try an grab some Porsche posters, ads, and so on. If you are interested, otherwise I am not dragging crap up there.

Tell your GF to come they can make hot chocolate, pet my dog, talk about traveling, throw snowballs at us, do the dishes...etc.

My gf/ fience hates when I drive fast, aggressivly, talk about cars all day. So as of now she might be coming and it would deffinetly be a lot less of a pain in my neck if other girls are there to for her to cook and clean, I mean play cards and stuff with.

For real! My GF and I have a deal where if I'm talking about stuff like cars or whatever she doesn't care about, she'll raise her hand (same goes for me). Let's just say the hand is raised quite often :lol:

 

this will be quite an interesting trip. could always let the GFs drive on teh track. might be good to get some more wheel time on the ice (thats my main goal). i wanna know more bout handling on ice.

I'm bringing my GF...but she loves my car, and is getting into racing! She helped me do my Rear disc swap, and will probably be doing some driving (she needs to learn to control a slide :shock: :? :roll: )

I just got back from the DMV... My driver's license has been suspended untill January 18th for having too many speeding tickets .
I'm still planning on comming, but the GF can't drive stick, so its either an automatic Pontiac Grand Am with all seasons, or...

Does anyone want to drive my car down?

 

Trust me, you wouldn't want to teach her how to drive stick on his car (let alone any car :lol: ). I say bring the poopiack and have some fun left foot braking.

lol, if you really wanted i bet you could teach her how. atleast good neough to get there. once your on the highway its easy as can be. you can even start her off on the ice, so that the tires will spin not teh clutch lol.

yeah, if i had some 13's with snow tires for the wagon like you have, then i could actually have enough power to maybe hold a good slide, but with the 29 inchers i'm limited to first gear fun, she just don't have the powa :lol: and that's why the red car gets to go :lol:

I've got some 13" rims with real nice all seasons on 'em you could use! were you at? I might be able to drop 'em off sometime the week before so you'll have 'em for he drive up too....come on....you know you want to!!

 

thanks for the offer, but since i am going to tear the red car apart shortly after the ice race it's gonna be my way of sending her off to subaru heaven with final memories of ice racing :cry: and i'll have the wagon for awhile so there will be more oppertunities for her. :lol:

now about this picture. whats happening? i see a camera man, possibly you?, and a girl on the hood of your car. now either she is really light or your hood is way stonger then mine lol.

I'm the one being filmed, the girl on the hood is my GF and the hood is Carbon Fibre... The chick on the foreground is the associate producer for "One Step Beyond", an international show on Discovery Channel. The episode will air some time next year... Its about myself and the work I do with electromagnetic propulsion, but they decided to throw the car in there too, so it will have some in-car and some chase camera action... I had a nick on my turbocharger inlet hose at the time, so the turbo was soo loud it sounded like a Semi truck... I hope it turns out well! I'll let everyone know when it airs
