I've been working on the car the last two days and have ran into a serious issue. The only things that were disconnected yesterday were the MAF cable and passenger side horn (had to bend it up to clear intercooler piping). I wanted to start the car to confirm there were no leaks but it doesn't even turn over. "Sport" is flashing and the temp gauge is all the way to hot (not actually hot). I can hear the relay click when I try to turn it over. So far I have checked all grounds, fuses (use multi meter to be sure) and checked the battery. The only things i can think of that I haven't checked is the throttle body connector, which is located right by the turbo and the new coupler for the fmic is pretty tight up against it. Might have a broken wire there. Also need to check under the dash to make sure nothing came loose. My AP will not power up from battery power but will from my lab top. I've spoken with Nuke via text and phone several times this weekend. Last time we spoke he thought the car might be stuck in diagnostic mode. But here is a quick picture of the fmic installed.
I've checked fuses twice now I'm out here now looking at the car and the electronic door locks don't even work. I can only open the driver door with the key fob.
Nuke figured out what was preventing the car from cranking over, it was a ground to the intake manifold and it's starts great now! We are running 100% speed density and i am loving the new intake air temps. The fuel pump did not fit, i was suppose to get the DW300C instead of the DW300. This will be exchanged soon.
I could hear a squeak sound when i started the car and had a friend listen to the engine bay. It was a intercooler pipe by the air intake rubbing the chassis, this was a simple fix by moving the pipe over and adding a rubber edge protector for more insurance (not pictured). Finally got the air intake bracket trimmed down enough to fit. I'm loving the new setup, my temps are staying pretty cool. Heres the GM IAT sensor installed.
Oh the joys of owning a modified car Hope you get all the little bugs worked out and hopefully you'll take me for a ride some time!
Finally got the dyno video up but it just a link to it lol (this was the run i made 381whp). I'm getting tuned again this weekend at NF! More power!! http://vid1141.photobucket.com/albums/n591/mkbenchmark/Dyno 1 _zpsobyoe4qp.mp4
Got on MAP's dyno Wednesday, Nuke got it to 473whp and 464wtq. Car is running mid 11.5 AFR and 25PSI. Same initial pull as before but the mid to top end pulls crazy hard. Very pleased with the results!
