So, I'm most of the way through my self mutilation (boosting my GC) and I realize I don't have the tools, or experience to make a quality "custom" DP or UP. So the feeler is to see how much someone on here would charge me to mod my 4-1 EL headers with an UP flange and finish off the DP to the exhaust. I can PM some pics if needed. Thanks.
I'm guessing that if you got some tools, experience would soon follow... Anyway, talk to Nathan about a custom DP and UP. Just PM TSTRBOY2004. I'm sure he can take care of it.
Well, I have plenty of tools, just not a welder or pipe bender. :-S And I've got everything else in (fuel pump, FPR, intercooler) I'm wiring the EM either tomorrow or Sun. I'd just rather have someone whose welded/bent pipe make it, rather than my jury rigged setup...
I dont think Nathan is ready to be making exhaust stuff yet, or else I would have already been down there getting my new up pipe made. Where do the EL headers end? are they the long design where the end behind the tranny or up in the stock location? If its the stock location I might have an uppipe that will work for you, depending on what turbo you are using.
I'm using a TD04. The headers end by the block, then theres another pipe that goes back to the mid section with the second O2 in it. (PS, THAT WOULD BE AWESOME!!) :biggrin:
