    one word: wow

There is one problem with the car: Potenza RE92. In cornering and braking, you can really feel that's the weak point. One slight downside is body roll, but some upgraded anti-sway bars and you'd be set.

Can't say enough good things about the way it drives. Low end torque: check. Quick spool up: check. Nice linear acceleration: check. Drove the '05 WRX just before the Legacy, and the legacy feels so much nicer.. no need to wind it up to get moving like the WRX.

YUM.. now to do a 2 year effor to of convincing the wife to trade up the '02 impreza 2.5TS wagon for a 2.5GT wagon.

BTW: I went to Bloomington Acura Subaru, worked with a guy named Erik.. Very cool guy.. rallys one of his car and even has NOKIAN tires for the winter! ;-) If you stop by that dealership, look him up.. I forgot to grab his business card, so am not sure what his last name is.

Jordan, as I mention to you... power band is smooth all the way through. Now time to trade up that Impreza!!! Was Kelly in the car with you when you test drove the car? That's the decision maker there :D

If all goes according to the mill... we'll be seeing Forester STi and Legacy STi in a year or two.

The STis will be overkill for Kelly.. Heck, the GT is overkill for Kelly, but since I'll be driving it once and a while.. it would be nice. :)

Kelly wasn't with me.. I went with a co-worker over lunch since bloomington Acura Subaru is basically across the street!

Next time, test drive it out to the Firestone lot on Fri/Sat night. I want to see what the commotion is all about. :)

A buddy of mine test drove an automatic. He said it felt slow compared to my car. I just said its the lack of lag and a smooth powerband he wasn't use to. Much like an N/A car.
