She lives again! After one last little leak (now fixed) she is back on the road! About 60 miles down of the "break in" and it is driving like a dream! Thank you to NF Performance, Nuke, and especially Roger who worked so hard to make this what it is. I am so happy with it, and pretty pumped for the next tune in a week or two! Thanks guys!

Well... I made it 98.8 miles with out further problem... One of the hoses under the coolant reservoir broke of a piece, and so near the end of my cruise out to the MOA this afternoon, I noticed the temperature start to spike once I got off of the freeway. It stayed above the 3/4 line but didn't get too close to the red... so I pulled in to the MOA asap, and parked it in a well lit area, began to search... didn't see anything... called Nuke... tried searching more... went in for a quick job interview... came back out, called Nuke... tried adding water, water ran out rather quickly... Nuke came to the mall, and once the TMIC was off, we saw the hose. Luckily, it was all early enough and accessible enough that we ran to Napa, picked up a new hose/anti freeze, and now she's great again! Thank you Nuke!

I now am at about 120 miles on the new motor, and everything seems to be fine. Temps are good, fluids are good, and the break in is moving along well! It is so nice to be in my car again. I was grateful to use the Olds, but now it is time for it to go to my little cousin. I am trying to see if I can work the Dyno day into my schedule, as I would love to see the numbers after all of this! Hopefully I can make it work and see you all out there. If not, I will be trying to get to some meet/social ASAP!

Nuke is pretty much the main man, man...

Good to hear that you're back in your car and all is well!

Good to hear. I too am done with my car. Now I'm just waiting on Nuke to come and work his magic. I'm just like a little kid that gets a bike for Christmas and the ground is covered with snow and he can't ride it. :(

This may be slightly redirecting this thread, but I am interested in starting to look for two things...

    1. Gauge set up. (Hoping to pick up a 3pod mount in the next week or two). I am still hearing a lot of different reviews as far as what gauges people have been most satisfied with.

    2. A new exhaust set up. It has become quite loud, and I am interested in finding something that will not impede on the power, but will also be significantly quieter. Any suggestions/or ones to stay away from? Currently, I have an ERZ DP, GS UP, and the GReddy Evo2 catback. I bought the GReddy used, and since having it on, I had to replace one resonator. I am interested in somthing similar to the SPT I think... but hopefully with the 3'' diameter still... Truly, I don't know a whole lot about exhaust systems...

I love the Invidia Q300! has a nice rumble at idle, no drone on the freeway and sounds amazing at WOT. In my opinion it is a perfect exhaust.

Keep in mind that the same model exhaust can be completely different between different model years. Trying to use one person's opinion to decided what to buy is nearly useless if they have a different model.
