I am curious if the Impreza L alloy wheels (5 spoke) will fit over USDM wrx brakes (not the 4 pots). These wheels are pretty much the same as the V2 STi, which had larger brakes than the Ls do. I know you can fit 4 pots under 15" gravel wheels. Perhaps you can fit WRX brakes under the L 15"s.

anyone w/ wrx brakes care to find out?

    Picture of wheels in question.

they WILL NOT fit 100%!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the v2 STi runs the same brake setup as the USDM 2.5RS, that is why they are able to fit the 15s. On the other hand, i'll take those 15's off your hand since they don't fit. hehe

Took off a wheel and tried this out. The rear brakes will fit just fine. the wrx rear caliper almost looks punnier than my L one. The front are a different story. They are VERY close to fitting the wheel is a couple millimeters too small or else it would be mint.

In this pic i set the whole brake setup in teh wheel. the caliper hits the inside of the wheel preventing the lug nut holes to line up properly. I am not sure if a 5mm spacer will make these work. people on RS25 are saying that a 5mm spacer is all i need.

Well, PRA4SNO and I tried installing the 04 WRX rear calipers and rotors on my car. and guess what we found out?

The rears are EXACTLY the same between the LX and the WRX. This caught me way off guard. I was expecting at least a larger rotor if not a larger caliper. well. guess I found something else cool about my car.
