    Still looking for volunteers with tri-pods and cameras...but I do have a couple of spots along the route to set up at. Also need some travelling footage from all of those that can/will.;)

    A friend of mine said he would do it for us, video and still shots. He drives a mazda 6 but he said it would be fun. I know we are trying to keep this all subie, but if he is the one on the bridge taking video, his car wont' be in the video. Let me know what you think.

    If he does this I would like to see if there is a way his grub could be coverd for doing this for the club... any thoughts?

    I might be able to go and do some of the photos. My girlfriend has a nice digital camera, lenses, tri-pod and stuff. I'd probably just ride with someone that way I can snap photos while going down the road. My sister's boyfriend has a HD digital camcorder. I might be able to get him to go along.     I'll talk to russ about it, we really didn't charge anything extra for the clubs sake. But I'll see if there would be some way. I'm paying for myself also, so this may be a pipe dream. But if he wanted to do it anyway for the experience or something, it would be appreciated. I'll get back to you on the 'grub' idea.;)

    ^^ no big deal either way. I am sure he would love to do it. the big question is do you mind if he comes even though he will be in a mazda 6? I know there was descusion of that.

    I just talked to him and he said he would be more then willing to do it as long as he can get the okay from his wife to go, or if he can convince her to come with. Beth is coming so that helps his case a lot. I willl keep you posted.

    I agree with Bill, nice gesture! I've spent XXX amount of my own monies to get this thing organized and I'm throwing down my $11. Not trying to sound ungrateful or anything Bill.:biggrin: Just want everyone to remember that 'by popular demand', this club is a "pay to play" community. And the owners don't have a slush fund for these sorts of things. So every dollar sent helps to get this thing in motion. Pre-thanks to all volunteers. You know who you are!;) Anyone else that would like to volunteer for vids/photos or anything else, just send me a pm. As of right now I have two maybes for the shoots. Anyone with a professional camera that would like to take photos at the event...please feel free to bring your stuff and shoot away!

    if I come I will bring my camera and video camera... I just asked my old manager if he would cover the shop, but its too far out to know if he is free or not.. so mine may be a couple of weeks before the event before I can confirm..

    I feel ya...I would still like to see 100% by the time June rolls around. I'll keep my fingers crossed. But you are correct, 20% after only 12 days. Not too shabby.

    Once again if anyone is on the list on the first page that know for sure that they are NOT going now would be a great time to step up and say it rather than waiting til june 24th and saying you forgot all about it but would have loved to have been there. And if ya know someone on the list who has not paid yet, bug them about it a little peer pressure can go a long way.

    :???: hmmm...that is a good question, I'll have to ask the caterer about that. There will be other non-meat things to eat like the potato sal., mac. sal., and baked beans. I'll see what I can find out! It may be easiest for her to bring a little something with...or you could just tell her they're veggie burgers :biggrin: from what I hear, they taste pretty much the same. Especially when its covered in ketchup or catsup...whichever you prefer!:laugh:

    As far as Billz question. I would like to give everyone the chance to pay first. If the #'s are short of what is needed...then we may have to open the invite to more groups of people and different cars!

    The caterer needs 59+ people to show, rates are cheaper when you have more people...like buying in bulk I guess!?

    We want some good #'s for the video footage! If only 20 cars go though, the video may be lacking...and we'll have to turn it into a mncruise video w/EVO's and the whole nine yards. I would much rather have it stay as planned...70 Subarus=MnSubaru 07 Cruise video for the club!
