Lake Calhoun Fun In The Sun Tuesdays!

I'm normally out there and I'm pretty sure that there arent grills at lake calhoun but there are some near lake harriet. I'm gone tho so I wont be there tonight, ask rexneffect or ylime about the grills tho I could be wrong.

 

I haven't noticed any grills in the area. I have seen people bring their own though.. how ever theres a chipotle just down the road

 

This is true, depending on which way you come in you have to pass by calhoun square where there is chipotle, noodles, jamba, whole foods, and there's a punch pizza across the street. So pleanty to choose from!

 

Tonie and I might swing by on our way to Burnsville to check out the ricekiller.com Tuesday meet. Maybe we could crash it with all of our subarus.

 

not ture..we should all be there. most of us are not in college. but I will be there...

 

why bother rice killer meets are lameeee the ones on monday are the better of the two cause the nos guys are there. they stopped going to the burnsville meets.

had a great time tonight. Traffic comming home on 35W was a b****. they just had to close a lane didn't they?

I'll be out there at some point tomorrow. Although I have this feeling I have something planned for tomorrow and I don't remember what exactly... oh well. Meet up around 7ish. If no ones there, wait it out they will show eventually.

 

holy hella flush bug eye. Not gonna be able to make it this week...lame.

 

I will definitely try to be there. It'll be my last meet so everyone that can go should just to see me off!!!!

Yep. We meet there even if it's gonna rain. If that happens, we usually head up to one of the bars in Uptown, or over to Tim and I's place 3 minutes away. Unfortunately, neither of us are gonna make it tonight.

I went by a little early but no one was there yet.

 

i got there around 7:10 and Will was already there and Jordan

 

I actually showed up late. Then I was able to call the ducks over and fed them... diseased or not, was entertaining on my part since they were nibbling on my fingers trying to get the ritz crackers.

 

that was pretty funny. Then got kinda scary when the entire lake's population of ducks and geese decided to come to our side of the lake! It was a good time though and a great way to leave. Imma miss you guys until I come back to visit and hopefully get to meet up with you!

 

yea it was a fun time, nice to meet some of the peeps from the forum. Looking forward to going to more meets...and next time I'm gonna bring a darn lawn chair lol

Tonie and I were just coming back from Wisconsin last night, so we couldn't make it. Next week for sure! It's been 2 weeks now that we haven't been there.

 

so who's going tomorrow night? I'm most likely going and it looks like great weather!

 

possible i will be out depends on what 2 maro brings at work.

Decent turn-out! It was nice having nothing but Subaru's in the lot for once (except for that ricer civic). Too cold for the bikers I guess. I'll post up pics when I get a chance.
