I hear Dent Kraft does good work. The few cars I've seen come back from them looked good and the owners were very pleased. We're working on setting them up as a mnsubaru vendor.
It sounds like the cars that tried to out run the hail failed.... yet the cars that stayed in the parking lot were fine.... funny how stuff like that works out.
I'm guessing everyone else cleared out too from the parking lot, from the bikers to the ricers. I spotted Jordan, Burtonboy, and at least one other member on the way out. All our vehicles at home were safe, except for Tim's company car. Cracked windshield and dents on the side of the car.
Yeah man there was a good number of people that just hung out under the trees and watched the storm. I couldn't figure out how i was getting hit with more hail than anyone else.... until Mike came up and asked me if I was standing in an unlucky spot because my back was getting pelted.... with a big ass evil grin on his face.

What it is.. Yep, I'm no a/c and after last night I've been digging through car-part.com trying to find a new a/c compressor. Yeah he's more into duramax/cummins lifted trucks...I try to keep my Subaru banter at home to a minimum, I gave up when he started to stare blankly at me when I was talking about contemplating upgrading from an EJ to a TD. So yeah, I'm glad I've found a new place to carry on haha.

My A/C went out on the way home too- misty/smoky looking air came out through the vents for a bit and than no more cool air. Hoping I just ran out of freon? Good luck with that fix and good to meet u as well.

Hey Everyone I'm new. Owner of a 2004 WRB STi. I'm looking to go stage 2 this summer but want to hear some exhausts before I buy, would this Lake Calhoun meetup be the best place for me to meet some of you and hear some of the different exhaust systems?

sounds like something someone who throws hail would say. :biggrin: You should never "run out" of freon. You have a leak! Fix that before you charge up your AC unit, otherwise it will just leak out again and that is horrible for the atmosphere... plus a huge waste of money! Glorified Nuts FTW
I'm new and have a 2004 Sti that is WRB. It's stock right now but looking to go stage 2 very soon on E85 Won't be much of a looker for you guys but I'd love to come to see some of your cars and hear some exhaust setups!
