We ARE going to the ball game tonight... Think we will stop in around 6:30 on our way by and return by 8.
ill be out for sure prolly head out there earlier seeing how we lose sunlight very quickly these days. prolly out by 6
I'm planning on heading down. Hopefully before everyone leaves. It sucks it gets dark so early. Damn seasons, oh wait, I can't wait to rip through some snow. Talk about mixed emotions!
lemme break the handraiser cycle since people are more interested in who is going to be there as opposed to who is not going to be there lol Heading out around 6. I'll be in the wannabe porsche shadow.
We'll likely be there today. Maybe make it there by 6:30 or sooner. It's been awhile, and we likely will be busy setting up my new house and moving in the next couple of weeks.
What a bust last night....Damn bacon... Anyone thought of a good place for the winter? Indoor...with our cars? Sophie
Sounds like I didn't miss much but I do like Subarus and fun people so I missed more than I would have liked... even though missing this meet ment I was able to make it to the dyno days. Dean
Lower turnout, but still nice to meet some new guys. Good to see you out there again, Shorten! We'll probably start up the Winter Tuesday Meet thread again soon and sticky it. But we need to find a place to go. Last year it varied between O.C. and Williams in Uptown, to occasionally the O.C. in Har Mar. The O.C. in Uptown was kinda cool because it had bargo there.
I like both uptown locations... Williams is great to shoot some pool or eat peanuts and has good drink prices. I like the food and drinks at O.C.... Is parking an issue at either location??? Dean
I liked Williams for the beer selection and bargo wasn't bad at OC. However, I didn't think that parking was convenient at all! The lot at OC is always packed and not much room. I still like the west end idea because they have the (heated?) parking ramp. Some have said it gets pretty full during the week, but I'd like to check it out on a weeknight to see how busy it really gets. Regardless, I'm open to ideas!
West end would be a good option, just need to find a place that has some specials maybe? Definitely much easier to get to than Uptown.
still working on the west end, sent a email to a friend who works at toby kieths to see what specials they have. next week I can do some more reasearch after lspr.
We'll be out tonight with the new addition to our family.... And it's not the black 04 Forester XT that I wanted. Dean
ok so westend food choices!!! http://www.littleszechuan.com/dinner/ pirces seem not to bad and it seems casual enough for a group of car people, http://www.theshopsatwestend.com/shops-at-westend/merchants/rojo-mexican-grill/detail/25.aspx, seems ok, happy hour starts at 9 like oc did. There is also a noodels and company in west end...and of course there is toby kieths, they have decent food and the place is huge, but they do have live music every night at a certin time.
Nice, i'm curious to see what you picked up. I think it will be fun to brave it out there in the cold
After coming out the last two weeks and not seeing anyone . IMO I think this thead should be locked for the winter and reopen the winter meet so we can start to get that going again... I MISS my fellow Subaru enthusiasts!!!
Just want to let everyone know that I had a good time meeting up at Calhoun this season. It was really nice to meet everyone that I have met. I look forward to the Winter Meets.
Yep, let's lock this one down and re-open the winter one. Thanks for doing some research Emily! Let's discuss in the winter thread.
