i figure it would've been a bit higher if i would've kept my speeds in the double digits. lol

yeah, single digit speeds are terrible for gas mileage.

From the BP by my house down and back; 309 miles. Filled up with 11.85 gallons on Sunday. ~26 MPG. Pretty damn good for my car.

Um, my empty light is on, I'll fill it up in a few days when I feel like driving it again. But something tells me I didn't fare as well as some.

On the drive down I got 166 miles on 7.48 gallons. that is 22.19 MPGs. I think I got rocked because of all the up and down, and all the down shifting I needed to do to keep the RPMs up and the tranny kind of happy.

And for the return trip, plus going to work today. And as a bonus, it only took about 45 minutes to drive the 20 miles home from work, but 186.4 miles, 6.5 gallons for a total of 28.67 for the return trip plus a day to work. Probably would have been over 30 without the trip to work.

I ended up getting 26.7 MPG there and back combined. And I took freeway the entire way back. This with 2 people + Camping stuff down, and 4 people + camping stuff back.

PLUS, playing with the BMW fight-masta.
