Legacy owners(04-09). Can your sunroof shade slide by it self?

    Just curious.

    Just bought the wife a 09 legacy limited non turbo. Are you not able to slide the sunroof shade/cover by itself when the sunroof is closed?

    Mine slides back and forth when opening and closing the sunroof, and it tilts, but the shade part wont open.. just wondering if this is normal for this car, on other cars the shade can be slid back when sunroof is closed or in tilt.

    My wife's 07 slides freely.

    My 05 doesn't slide with the operation of the moonroof. Gotta go manual first...
