I am looking at dropping a legacy turbo cross member into my GC. My question is whether or not I need to use the legacy turbo steering rack or if I can use my stock Impreza steering rack. I am not sure if the up pipe cut out will interfere with the NA steering rack.

If anyone knows please post it up. Thanks.

Guys on the BBS have gone to newer N/A racks out of BD Legacys. I don't think you'll have a problem.

I used a NA swaybar for a while. I got it to fit, but it rubbed on the up pipe area. Just made noises, thats all. Then I found a turbo swaybar and life was good. Maybe its just a Legacy thing.

last time I was out there, Chesney's here in Duluth had 2 t-legs, and they pull the motors, so pulling the xmember wouldn't be too hard. they want decent $$ for it, but still probably cheaper than paying for someone else to pull and ship one.

Chesney's wants $50. You better be quick tho, cause Jeremy and I are talking more and more about going and getting all of them we can find.

Let it be known if you are running an NA exhaust it will not clear a turbo x-member. Lots of swearing was involved with this discovery.

I have turbo sways that are going to the scrapper, they are yours if you want em
