I'm not sure how to get a freeze frame. I just go to the advance auto down the street and ask to use the code reader. That gives me the codes and it's always the same. In the past though, if I waited a few days the code may clear. Now it won't clear for any lenght of time.

I'm not sure how I would get a freeze frame. I understand what that would be, but I find it unlikely that the Advance Auto code reader would give me that kind of info. But I 've been wrong before. If you have some insight;I'm all ears.

I picked up a code reader for under $100 from wal mart, it gives ff data.
Next time you use the advance code reader, look for a button labeled ff.

Thanks for the info. I will check for it. Watch for a response post in the next day or two.

But really, what difference would it make if it were during warm up. I typically baby it until warmed up. I do understand why you don't want to hammer on a cold soaked turbo and engine block. In addition, I understand not hammering on it shorlty before cool down.

The code appears at many differnet times and engine temp scenarios. I drive to the Advance Auto(warming up the engine), shut down and clear the codes. the codes immediately re-oocur. that would be a warmed up engine scenario.
