So being new to the twin cities scene, I'd appreciate your help figuring out good vendors for technical work.

    I've heard of:
    - Jeff the Alignment Guy
    - tuners: NF of course, DB, RS, MAP(?)
    - vendors: Grimmspeed, MAP, Frozen Rotors, ...

    - anyone know who does turbo work locally, like rebuilds/balances/machines/upgrades? Someone on a Supra forum mentioned Diesel Components, has anyone used them?
    - @FuJi K , do you PnP turbos and manifolds/crosspipes, or mainly concentrate on heads?
    - precision welding like EWG conversions
    - what about injector porting/matching/etc?

    Thanks all : )

If anyone else is looking for turbo-related work, I talked to a nice guy named Bob Schreiber at RavenWorks and they have the capability:

Alright I know I'm replying to myself here, but I talked to the above-mentioned Bob at RavenWorks today at BTTFs, and he really seems to know his stuff. He was 'the guy' at MAP that developed their turbo kits, until he left there a few years ago. I asked him a ton of questions and he didn't blink, and I approve of his answers :) He has indeed done a ton of turbo-related design and upgrading/machining/rebuilding. Hope that might help someone!
