Hey guys, I am looking at buying a 2006 wrx with 53k miles. This is exactly the car I want (2.5), save the color (gray). It has had some modifications to it, such as "Mod blouch 18g td06 with cold air intake. 3 inch down pipe and exhaust". I also know that it has a 255 Walbro. I am hesitant to buy due to the modifications that have already been done, as I want this car to last me a long time and be reliable. If I were to buy the car stock, I would bring the car to stage 2, so it's not as if I would want to keep the car stock. Does anyone have any recommendations as to someone who can really give a thorough inspection of the vehicle? My #1 area of concern is the engine and I am not sure even how that can be inspected save a compression test. Also of concern is the transmission/clutch. Lastly, I know that there is some issue with a gas solenoid. I am going to see the car in person tomorrow and I will have more information about exactly what has been done, but I would really appreciate any direction you guys can give me.
