Not people telling me to put 19's on an Impreza. Look at Carl, the guy rallyx's and is going down to 16's. CC and opinions were welcome, but I really didn't want it to turn into this.
ha ha ... no probs.. I aint telling you too.... its more a culture thing for me.. they go bigger in Australia and its not as much balling as over here.. or ghetto... to be honest if I had some money to spend on stuff.. I would be looking into some 18's personally.. but for me the Forester is a bigger car so the 19's dont look so out of place as they did on the wrx... 17-18's are nice on an Impreza.... personally I prefer really open rims and ones that others dont have.. hence the 19's on mine... they didnt come in 20's or they would have been on..ha ha maybe not.. I just get tired of all teh wrx's running around that have the exact same look... and you mention Carl's car.. but his is becoming a PURPOSE built car... he also took of teh brembos to fit those rims on.. to many that was just crazy... me I would have loved his brembos so they filled out my 19's more... ultimately you dont come on asking for opinions... everyone has em.. kinda like the buttholes you mentioned... and then obviously its not the butts that start bleeding but your feelings

If you don't want to hear opinions and you would rather have us just pat your back on your decision, then say that instead. You are obviously interested in 17x8 wheels. Why ask us for opinions if you have already chosen? BTW, TSTRBOY never told you to put 19's on, it was in response to your opinion about running 18's or larger. So, go get your 17x8 Rotas, and stop asking for opinions if you don't want them. OH, and another thing. The Subaru Impreza is a four or five door compact economy car. It is not a sports car.
Agreed. If that truly was the classification for all versions of the Impreza I don't think the STi would be one of the most expensive vehicles to insure.
