We typically don't associate with folks at the sun foods lot, but hey, its a free country, free to be whatever you'd like. Like a skreet racer. Or a ricer. Or a thief. Or just a general asshat who revs at everything. Not saying you ARE one, but we're somewhat high brow around here, there are standards (well, there wasn't at one point, but thats how some of us are here) Welcome to madness.
Welcome to the forum and glad to hear that some current members are referring you to the site. There is ots of good info on the site, probably more worthless info, but we do also put on a lot of events. Check out the Event section for upcoming events (next event is the Tuesday night meet at Boom Island) and feel free to come out!
Sorry to start the sunfoods argument haha. Honestly I moved here from texas where the car scene is huge and didn't hear anything for months about car meets. I picked up my wrx then shortly after met a guy who told me about people meeting there so I went to check it out. not exactly my style either but I like seeing all the cars besides the hondasI'd like to get in with a weekly meet if possible I already opened a thread for my area stillwater, oakdale, st.paul. so if nothing is already going on it would be nice to single out a night for a meet like Wednesday. I was just giving you **** about Sun Foods. Never been there, nor do I know where its located. Welcome to MN. It's a great state to live in, and plenty of stuff to do. As mentioned before meets for us during the week on tuesdays and fridays typically unless you start up a mini meet. Have you done any mods to your 05 Wrx wagon?
All stock at the moment haven't even got the plates for her. First thing is exhaust for sure.Stage two over winter
make sure to get a tune as well. i got ecu flashed at NF and it smoothed out the ride. Not a astronomical difference but it feels like the car is more in sync and pulls alot more than a stock car would. I will be getting stage two tune this winter after i make some edits soon.
So your saying to get a tune now or even with just exhaust, Should I stay away from cobb ap? Where is this place located and what do they charge? I'd like to meet a some guys to more less hang out with. I'm new up here and new to the subie sene so I've got a lot to learn. its a 140 for a tune at nf. they are located on the border of columbia heights and NE mpls off university ave. youll have to PM nuke for an appointment. if you want to spend ~600 for your own cobb ap then by all means go ahead. most of the dudes as mentioned at least somewhere on the boards get an open source tune (tactrix). then when you're ready you can get a stage two when you have a turboback exhaust. or you can just wait until you get the exhaust and then go stage two. its primarily up to you. It depends on what you want to do with it.
Nothing wrong with sun foods. It's another place to just hang out and chill. As you witness, we were there to chill but did not partake on any of the ruckus going around.
