So I looked around on Legacygt.com and haven't found the answer I am looking for. It seems to me that the ATF filter is a non maintenance item and does not need to be changed unless it's damaged. Any thoughts on that? The car is just about to 50k. I'm currently having what I feel to be an issue. When I am level footed on the gas (not accelerating), The engine, or what I think is the transmission seems to surge alittle. The reason I think its the transmission, is the RPM's don't change but it sounds like something revved up. It's almost like it goes 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and quick jumps back to second, but again the RPM's don't jump, car doesn't buck, I have no idea what it could be, maybe toque converter? I plan to drain the transmission and see if that makes a difference. Thoughts or ideas will be appreciated.
