    2003 WRX sedan.

OK, I installed a new clutch, pressure plate, throwout bearing and pilot bearing.

Now after starting the car for the first time I have a loud almost scraping noise (metal on Metal) which is worse when the clutch pedal is pushed in. But still has a grinding noise just not as loud when the clutch pedal is out.

I am thinking throwout bearing... maybe i installed something backwards?
 I don't think it would work at all then.

The clutch does engaged and the wheels turn, etc.

At first I thought it was the turbo and maybe it was bad...

Idk probably going to be taking out the engine or transmission to see whats up. I am thinking about taking the engine out with the radiator....

Any and all help is appreciated. Thanks in advance

i figured it out!! Nothing major, its the inspection cover on the bottom of the engine it is bent and rubbing on the pressure plate. -__- oops! that explains a lot.
