Who would you choose? Off-hand my engine needs to be bored, honed, ported and decked. I contemplated sleeves plus 14mm studs. It'll never exceed 700whp. Pretty much overkill. I will do the assembly. The three options I listed are past recommendations from here. Feel free to post someone else.
Lloyd's cylinderhead repair in rogers did great on some of the ford heads on my dad's street rod. However i don't how they fair with aluminum import heads.
I’ve used Dave at Metro. JM Automotive used to send all of their stuff to him. Not sure if they still do or not, but just saying.
I'll probably go with Metro. Not building it now. This is a project car. Getting all my info before next year. Determining tolerances took a long time. Very few will provide them. I know the reasons why.
I've used Headwerkz. They did a fine job, no complaints, but they were expensive as hell. Had D & D Auto do the block and head work on my rally car SR20DE and they cost less to hot tank the head and block and machine both than Headwerks did for just decking the EJ25 heads.
