MAPerformance Proving Grounds Weekend @ BIR June 22-24th

Baller status.

Yeah we have one by my cabin too. It is the only place local that has good beer. If we leave the cabin, we end up there.

We experienced a "dance night" 1 year for fishing opener.... it was pretty awesome. The VIP section was a riot. I almost died laughing seeing a VIP section.

 

Nobodys going up there Sat morn? thats cool, I always go alone

 

Well I'm out for Friday... But I'll be at the cabin if anyone wants to stop by after you dirty your rubber up Friday. I'll be heading home midday Saturday.

 

Must be the whipped syndrome

 

we still on for meeting at 930am in maplegrove? either the rei or maybe the byerlys so we can pick of last min grocery goods or liquior?

 

Nope low on funds after new car... Saturday is TOOL which I never miss... But I don't mind being whipped by her... It's that good pain

what a great event as usual! thanks to Map for putting it on! I enjoyed watching all forms of racing...nothing like being so close to the drift cars that I got a mouth full of tar bits and cones flying at me. I was very happy with my times running autox for the first time ever, and look foward to next year. Cheers!

Still haven't seen the video of the evo crash

 

I know someone who has it. They are waiting to talk to Casey before posting anything. The driver of the evo had a cracked rib, partially collapsed lung, and a cracked vertebrae. He should be ok, was let out of the hospital yesterday to go home. His brothers RSX ended up breaking both axles in the burn out box. Bad weekend for that Family.

 

Nice work, didn't get to see many of the other car's run at the Auto-X. I was driving the WRB 12 WRX 5-Door at the Auto-X. Got 3rd in PAX.

 

It was a fun event and a good opportunity to meet a bunch of people. My car ran well but not as good as I would have hoped. Had a great time with the GF on the the RR course, I think there are still claw marks on the door handle where she had her death grip! Has anyone heard anything about if we will be getting lap times from the RR course?

 

CWSCC will be posting them on their website. I don't have the link off the top of my head. I would also expect MAP might have something to share, they were still working on getting everything processed at 6pm last night, had to pack, and have about a 7 hour drive home from BIR. I would give it a couple days.

 

Nice Run FUJI! Had an awesome time with you guys at the track this weekend. First time doing drag and launching my car. Good times!

That's not to bad, I am happy about that. I found out my car weighs 3360lbs w/o driver so it needs to go on a hardcore diet. I will be cutting no less than 200lbs and adding a couple extra hp over next winter. Should make the car substantially quicker next spring Hopefully compete with some of the quicker EVO's.

 

Mine came out to be about the same w/ a half tank of gas, 2 extra tires in the trunk and me

Well I finished better in the TTS then I had thought I would of, maybe I should of ran me secound session of the time attack, don't think it would of help much with such a slow drag time

 

me either, I got 3rd in d stock was my first time so I was happy seeing as I drive an automatic boat. I deffinatly had way more time to make up once I understood the course. Autocross is eaiser to miss gates then rallyx. The set up of the cones confused me.

 

Mine was 3390 with driver.....a lot of that being driver

 

The burn marks from that NF were perfect! And I bet that dude almost **** his pants there
