Hi, I have been lurking for a few months. I thought I wanted a Subaru for my commuter and grocery getter. I ended up getting this. It seemed clean enough.
Damn. That's a pretty awesome grocery getter! Welcome to the party! Also, making volcanoes with all that vinegar?
I have had a handful of “rides” now. WRB bugeye, AWP bugeye, the infamous RSVX, the Outback wagoon, and now my beloved BRZ! This one will be in the family for a looooong time!! Summer shoes! Winter boots!
No, not making any volcanoes. It is used as a laundry additive. My wife is already complaining that things need to be fixed. As an example, power steering pump is leaking -- needed to add ATF today. I knew mostly what I was getting into. I just hope it is less expensive to keep running than a BMW 335i.
newest ride(project) "touge" rabbit Newest daily after my subaru was totalled out and mk3 jetta i replaced it with blew a headgasket, waterpump and altenator.
@tangledupinblu Hyundai Veloster, it's...an alright car, kinda slow and my head almost touches the ceiling but it gets 40 mpg at 90mph (in mexico).
Oh, I'm fine with it, this one has air-conditioned and heated seats. I did keep my wheels though, I'll probably slap those on it tonight.
Finally took some time to clean out and clean up the WRX that started it all... my dad's 2002 WRX Wagon. Still only has 126k on the clock, and running well. Fenders are in rough shape, but still one of my absolutely favorite cars to drive. It has a lot of nostalgia, because this car has been in the family since day 1. It's been used to learn stick, and haul the family around. It has seeen a couple proms, a few trips to college (prior to purchasing my 2004 WRX), and a few runs around town and the country roads. Now it will be a winter warrior for my dad so his '18 STi can be b babied a little longer, but for the summer I have borrowed it a bit to fulfill the desires to own a MT again... Anyways. A couple quick potato camera shots before/after a much needed headlight restoration.
@MNtrek1327 and myself participated in The Polar Run Rally this weekend and some how ended up winning it. This is a couple of pictures I took on the way home today of his ride. The rally started in Wausau, WI, and ended in Munising, MI.
Wife and I just bought a 2018 Outback. Silver exterior. Black interior. Really impressed with the vehicle. My picture won't load.
I've found that while making the file size smaller it simultaneously makes "it" look bigger... Hey oh.
I email the photo to myself (and choose "medium" for the size of file to send). Then open the email and save it to my photos and use that smaller picture in a post.
Yep. Been cropped. Shrinked. Whatever. Meets pixel size and is under file size. I post **** before. Just wasn't loading.
Well picked up another type 3 (vw) fastback today to compliment the one i'm swapping the ej22 into. This one was a new mexico car with one registered owner and all the original equipment for early EFI.
