Right you are Todd As far as I know my car was the first SVX with a hydraulic clutch setup (another guy had done it with a cable clutch). I did most of this stuff in my garage back when I lived with my parents, using a five speed from a 98 Legacy. It worked pretty well, but then I chewed up one of the half shafts coming out of the rear differential. At that point I decided I wanted an even weirder car, so I started looking around for a JDM WRX STi six speed. The idea was to get a gearbox that was strong, even though I don't really need six speeds. When a deal arose, I took it and then spent a month or two installing the six speed as well as an R180 rear differential and associated half shafts. I got some tranny crossmember problems cleared up in January and then put a new exhaust in. It still has some issues but it is pretty reliable and fun... So, that's the story <font size="1"><- sorry, I just love this little guy</font id="size1"> Oh, and Substeroo...now I have that **** song stuck in my head!
Hey discopope, was that you today gassing up at the wayzata holiday? I was the little tyke driving the blue suby who waved at you
I'm Matt, and I think I may be the only old-school sooby fan here. Here's the '85 GL 4X4 5-speed and I have a '92 Loyale AT FWD and me on our ski trip to Jackson Hole, WY. HA! maybe those will work}
grr, don't have time to fix now. I just started a cardomain account so maybe I'll have better luck there.
My car and me at 2003 USACi World Finals: http://www.edesignaudio.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=247&size=big&password=&sort=1&cat=500 - dumb forum software my link was too long for the manual URL tags wtf? IIRC that is Car Audio and Electronics magazine. One of my friends has my copy.

Android, did I see you over by the Quarry about a month ago? I gave someone a thumbs up and then he took off and I tried to keep up when he turned on to 280 south but my gear ratio sucks so I got whooped. Nice car either way!

I don't think that was me. Whenever I try to take off I grind second gear and run into trees. In some circles thats cool though.
