I've been plotting for quite a while to get the gold! You don't see it nearly enough on the silvers. I'm looking at springs now, but haven't decided what to go with. I was originally thinking about pinks, but now seeing how the wheels look on there, I think it's gonna have to go lower.

Here was my previous ride before the Subaru. It was a 1999 bagged Chevy S10: First off, here is a video of it draggin' TI (Titanium). It doesn't even make a mark on the road so it's not damaging government property http://houseofatlas.com/picsvids/draggin2.mpg NWS at the end for a swear word.... It's about 30mb long, so you better have a fast connection. If you do, it loads pretty quick These pics are at ride height. You can barely see it but I have a drag block bolted on the frame. If you drew a straight line from my door handle all the way down to the frame, then went an inch or two over to the left, it's right there. Kinda hard to see, though. Here is the engine crossmember slammed on the ground when it's layin' frame: I never got a picture of it all layed out for some reason. I guess I didn't lay it out much because it was a PITA to get it set at the EXACT ride height because I had a fast system LOL
WTF????????? Is the name of the website mnautos.com!!!? Week after week I see stuff like this^ and it's getting old. And not to mention, on the homepage(where the pics aren't displayed correctly) there are pics of non-Subies. Our homepage looks like crap by the way. It's not attractive to people that just stumble upon the site. I thought this was a Subaru site. Just ranting because I know no one cares anymore!!!!!!!!!!!!!:rant:
Hmmm..... This thread is called Members' Rides. It doesn't say, "Members' Subaru Rides". I bet you can go on ANY other forum (say the Nissan forum) and under the "Members' Rides" you'll find more than just Nissans. I hope the rest of Subaru owners don't act like you. A buddy of mine said a lot of the Subaru community are narrow minded and think Subarus are the best vehicle ever and everything else doesn't matter. Well, so far, it seems like he is right. There is nothing wrong with having an open mind and appreciating different vehicle out there. The guys over on the S10 forum that I still visit talk about all types of vehicles and don't have a racist-type attitude towards vehicles and they don't think the S10 is superior or anything like that. Sure, 90% of the website is dedicated to S10s, but there are sub forums on there because there are actually people who have a wider spectrum of interest besides their S10s. Lots of the S10 owners have bought different vehicles and sold their S10s but still come back to that specific forum because a lot of the people are really cool and open minded.
It is "members Rides" so I personally don't think its such a big deal but It would have been nice if you had some pictures of the subaru to go along w/the others.
I don't care what kind of car or truck anybody has. I don't think Subaru's are the best and I'm not ripping your S-10, but this is a Subaru site. If I wanted to look at a S-10 I would go to a Chevy site

well it is a members rides section... so I am confused... riding would indicate something you can throw a leg over... your wife, a girlfriend, FONG??? maybe a motorcycle.... but seeing as it is about cars and it doesnt say members subaru ONLY rides I think your post is ok.... I don't judge anybody by what they drive!(to each his own) I had a S-10 before I bought my Subaru and I loved my S-10. You even said it before WRXboy2003...that this site is getting lamer and lamer. Noice!! I mean, it's still a bugeye, but short of replacing the headlights with those really cool angry-looking black ones, the eyelids are probably the best way to make a bugeye.... less-bugeyeee =) I just bumped into a guy down in Rochester with a Sedona Red bugeye with those same eyelids. Hopefully he'll sign up here. |EDIT: Hey, is that grille new too? That's pretty sharp! I like the "aero" effect; it kinda smooths out the contours by being flush with the frontend shape rather than recessed. Are you considering getting one for the lower opening too?
Had to sign up R, damn good site. TheWRX, Its damn good, I was thinkin about those pieces between the grille and headlights and some inserts myself. I do recommend losing the front plate though. I may make something at work to cover the holes on mine. Ill let ya know how it goes if u want.
