It is really alot of fun. Beautiful cars everywhere. Specially Subi's. I went few weeks ago with my boyfriend in his wrx for first time and.....I knew it... I should have driven my subi there. But this time I am

 

i may be going , the wife is going to wi for the weekend...and if i dont go i will be there...luckily for me she is taking the jeep back instead of the wagon

 

It would be nice to have some subaru presence there. I'll have mine

 

yet another c&c I'll miss because of a broken rally car

 

If you guys and gals go, go early like at 8am or a little before, if it's nice it will fill up fast. The last couple times it has been insane busy.

 

I'm plaining on it ^ Does anyone have the address? or I'll stop being lazy and look it up.

how early is a good to show up to get a good spot. I saw last time some people had to park in the mud.

we all should meet up somewhere on 494 maybe around Bloomington and have a caravan to the meet early enough to get the spots

 

It goes from 8 to 11 it fills up fast so get there early. They park everyone by car type, make or country of origin. BMW, Porsche, British, Japanese, etc.... I'm going up with a buddy, he has an 06 Mini Cooper GP. I'll be there around 8.

 

Does my stock (but clean) STi belong in the show lot or general parking? I'd hate to take a spot from someone with something worth looking at!

Hello all. Wow! was it just packed today! we got there kinda late and took the last few spots that were left. It was SO awsome to see how many subi's were there this time. When we must! WE must!

This was a great show. I thought the mid eighty something awd Ford Mustang v8 turbo was pretty cool. I couldn't imagine the work involved with that build.

It's a Merkur XR4Ti, and they did not come AWD that is homemade! I know one of his buddys who also has a XR4Ti his is yellow and has the 4 cylinder in it still, not stock of coarse.

 

Probably pulled the drivetrain out of an XR4X4, which did come with AWD. Only Europe got them.

 

Yeah thats the car. I talked to the guy a little but I cant recall were he got the awd from. I do remember he said something about fabricating something from the GMC typhoon/ bravada. He also has Ford Ranger parts in the front end. I was just very amazed by all the work in that build.

These guys are pretty dedicated. I skipped the last "rain" day and it was still huge. If you've never been, you should go.

I'm skipping because I've got a really full day, but I'm def going to the meat/swap meet!!! Bacon!

 

I might be skipping this as well. I'm weak. And I could use some more recovery time from last night before the swap meet.
