You dont want that junk in your car (the conditioner) it was orginally made to seal up coolant leaks in na SOHC 2.5s (head gaskets) ive seen it plug passages in turbo banjo bolts.

$18.10 for the coolant.

Conditioner is 3 bucks or so, but we're out of it.

No it does not. Only really works if you buy the metal for a discount. And then pay full price for painting.

I need a head gasket set for a SOHC 99 Forester, and may or may not need replacement head bolts for one side (reuse em?) ... ?

 

For the surrond thats a tough one with out the VIN. Since the catalog doesnt tell me trim colors and/or auto or manual HVAC.

The brakcets are $3.58 each, No stock though.

For a good head gasket kit that we have in stock (Minus Fluids) its $159.50 before tax. As far as the head bolts its up to you. If its the first time doing the H/Gs then reuse the bolts. If its the second time then replace them.

 

Trim color isn't important, I believe all TR's had manual HVAC (unless someone can correct me?)

They are different for those two year correct? The forester uses the ATF-HP?

Subaru used the ATF-HP fluid in all the 06+ models with a A/T and 5A/T

I see the STI headgaskets are $34.36 each, what is the thickness of them again? its been a while. I'd be picking them up for my 20k/20g hybrid or a STI/20g hybrid for reference, so I know the stupid 20k pistons clear the deck a bit more.

 

The 257 gaskets will not work on your 20g.
