Wonder if I can get a quote for the 08-09 all-in-one legacy key--I want to use it on my 06. Believe the p/n is 57497AG48A

Taking my car into my local dealer (who shall remain nameless b/c I dislike them) to have the radiator fan relay recall done. Looks like they will probably have to replace my ECU b/c the rad fan is on all the time. Seeing they'll have to reprogram my keys with new immobilizer codes and I can't find my 2nd set of keys, figure may as well get a new key. So just a price on the key--would you guys be able to cut it if I provide my vin? Would need to be shipped to Rochester too.

 

$62.36 For the Key and Remote combo. Unfortunantely for safety reasons... We are unable to cut and ship a Key. We can only cut keys and hand them out over the counter, with a proof of ownership.

Let me get back to you...I'm trying to think how difficult it's going to be for me to convince my dealer to cut an 08+ key for my 06...considering I will have a 06 vin hahaha I can email you a scan of my insurance card! j/k I understand tho...wonder how the fredbean boys get away with it. I'm taking my car in tomorrow morning, I'll prod the service guy to see if they'll cut it without giving me hassle and will let you know. Thanks for the quote!

Hey guys-

I'm having the struts replaced in our '02 Outback wagon (141,000 miles) by your shop - I spoke with Mike today and he is ordering the parts. I know Subaru made a change in the front suspension to reduce some of the harshness for the 2003 model year and I have to believe the struts are a big (if not complete) part of the change. Brian P. told me he thought the 2002 strut is superseded by the 2003+ strut and I will automatically get the updated part. Can you verify this for me? Let me know if you need the VIN. Thanks.

I am looking to see if you have this plastic nut / grommet in stock #791084000. Also how much?

Also I wasn't sure if I talked to Bielke or the other Brian on Tuesday, but he said that you might have some square plastic nuts / grommets that are laying around that might fit into the square hole on my bumper. 09 WRX 5-door. I have a license plate delete and the part for it is the part # above. My problem with that part is it makes the delete not flush with the bumper. However, there is a grommet that is made for the 09 bumper that would be flush. The problem is the only way to get that piece is to order the Subaru License Plate kit, which I have no need for.... and I don't want to drop $30 on a plastic nut / grommet. I am thinking I could swing by after work on Friday to check it out, see if it fits. If that is cool?
