Been doing some work on an EJ205, a motor I am not horribly familar with. I have some questions about how it all goes together, probably fairly simple stuff.

1.) the plugs for the coil packs, do the white plugs go on the front cylinders (1 & 3) and the black ones on the back ones (2 & 4)? I think the is correct but want to make sure.

2.) This question is in the regards to the hose which is circled in red in the first picture below. Where does this hose connect to? Is this the hose which supplies the vacuum to BOV to cause it to release?

3.) this question relates to the 2nd picture below. This is a mock up of a WRX/STi cooling system. The two ports that are circled in red I am unfamilar with, where do these connect to? Also how is the overflow tank plumbed into this system, as I believe it connect to the metal reservoir and to the raditator release by the rad cap.

Yes that is for the BOV

the top is for the turbo cooling resivour and the bottom is just a drain. The supply line from the tank should go to the "supply" connection on the res, and there should be a metal tube that runs across the header of the radiator that connects to the overflow line ont he cap area of the res. If you live close to EP you could take pictures of my mostly stock engine if you like?

^Thanks again Frogy! That is very helpful. Sadly I wont be able to make it out be EP today though. A god reference would have been nice.

So they bottom spout thingy is just for the drain? no hoses hook up there?

Anyone know about the coil packs?

the nipple on the drain is meant to allow the hookup of a hose to make drainging easier (also makes draining seem much slower).

I checked my coils and the fronts have a gray connector and the rears are black. Although I had heard that the suby system is a wasted spark system, meaning that the plug fires twice during a cycle, once at compression and once at exhaust?

^Thanks again! I also was able to confirm that the white/gray plug goes on the front cylinder.
