I'll miss Gooch, but I'm way happy the Sharks got Burns. #1 D men are so much harder to find than Offense. Boyle and Burns on the same line, Huskins and Wallin gone should give the Sharks another gun run. The Havlat deal is a bit of a wash.

Think I'm in one of the top rows in sec 115 for this game. Russ will be there too, I wanna say his season tickets are sec 111 row seven maybe?
Until you start hanging out in row 7 of the lower bowl. I don't think I could give up my seats to sit up top anymore, you just get too spoiled sitting so close to the action. Russ

The key is, you need to be friends with the guy on the glass. He gets into the lodge with his tickets and you can use his extra passes to get in. Then you don't have to pay the $250 a seat just to get free beer. Russ
God I hate the glass pounding, what is the point! I think they should just get rid of the glass completely, people would pay much more attention, and would most likely not be cock off to the players! I was at the game last year against Vancouver when Rypen tried to pull that kid out of the stands, that was crazy!
And the best seats in the house! Especially if you're right next to the penalty box. Just up the mnsubaru membership fees to $20 a year to pay for season tix on the glass lol That's what I love about gopher hockey games. No net so if you're above the glass, watch the **** out!
I had seats in 121 row 2 the first few years. Being closer to the ice is nice for the "I'm right up in it" effect but not so hot for seeing the whole ice. Personally it was worth the move to upper ends for the $2000 per seat savings alone. When I get the urge for the lower bowl I just go to the STH booth and upgrade right at the game. Win/win.
True, but if I had the means I'd do on the glass every time. It's a completely different experience that's for sure.
Just thinking of this gets me pissed. Even worse is the guy from row 3 reaching over to slap n pound. I actually like the LL standing room only "seats" On the glass is neat but more of a been there done that kinda neat. Same goes for right behind the players bench, cool to see whats going on with the coaches and team(like Cullens water bottle is full of coke.) but crappy for seeing the actual game.
Meh, it's nice being up on it but I have more fun watching the first timers put drinks on the ledge and wearing it minutes later. That never gets old.

They're on quite a hot-streak right now. Watched my first game of the season last night, and even with some clearly questionable penalties, they got the job done. I'll be at one of the Av's games this season, since it's an annual ritual for myself and my Av's fan friend. Hopefully I'll make it to more than just one game this season.
They are looking pretty good, I like the goal tender by commitee, like back in the day with Rolly and Fernandez. Also some good young defensive talent coming up from Houston.
Boyz are back in town! I'm excited to be heading back down to the X tonight. Early in the season or not, it's nice being on top of the division.
Being ontop early means its just our spot to lose rather then depending on another team to play poorly and us to play well
Definitely fun to see them winning this year and the team is much more exciting to watch. I use to get to at least a half dozen games a season but last season I only made it to two games. This year I'd like to get back to normal. If anyone has season tix and it looking to get rid of a couple games, hit me up!

I have season tickets in sec 112 row 7, just let me know what game(s) you are looking for and I can tell you if we have them or not. Badbennyb already gets 10 games a season from me, so some of them might already be spoken for. They also always roll in next seasons tickets when they start asking for playoff money. If we stay at the top of the pile, I would guess they will be looking for money probably after the 1st of the year. Russ
What a weird game. Actually, the whole day. Fights in the stands, weird 70's hippie biker guys, horrible officiating, everything. Kinda bummed that we couldn't hold the streak, but I think the nhl did everything its powers to make sure the streak ended yesterday. Oh well, on to the Boogaard tribute game. Russ

Yep, this sucks. Until they start winning a few games I'm looking at every game I go to as a payment I could be making on a boat/bike or something.
^ This is why we only made it to 2 Twins games this year... We tend to make it to 10-15 a year... On the other hand we recently purchesed a '08 LGT limited... Wouldn't have been able to do that if we had spent $1500+ on losing entertainment.
