    about the only thing you can do is go into your user options and select the part that shows you are a member (makes your name green)

    Finally joined the club :)

    I realize it'll probably take a little time to get my card in the mail, but how do I get my discounts if I don't have my card?

    EDIT: I even put my username in the notes section!

    Most of the vendors only do the discounts for those who have cards. We are working on a web-interface member list that the vendors could search and would be updated quickly (or immediately), but that functionality is coming with the MNSOC.com website, which isn't up yet.

    So unfortunately, for the mean time, I think you'll just have to wait for your card.

    You bet! If you are willing to do some scouting and/or have some ideas of places that would work, Dave (Scuba Steve) would be the one to talk to. He is handling our vendor relations.

    I'll be getting some parts from the Subaru Dealership in town soon. I'll ask Dave! They are so clueless when it comes to the internet but they match prices on all SPT parts.

    Nope. For most events, there is a guest cost as well as a member cost. We will also have memberships available for non-members to purcahse at all MNSOC events.

    So to become a member, do I just have to fill out the pdf. app. and pay $12 through paypal? Do I just attach the pdf. to an email?

    You've got it. Easiest way is just to email the completed PDF (using acrobat pro or the buttons imbedded in the PDF).

    I tried to fill out the app and email it but it wouldn't send it because it had said that none of the fields were filled out. Do you know what I might be doing wrong?

    You need to enter text in every required field. In Adobe Reader, these fields will be highlighted with red.

    At the very least, when you send in the paypal make sure your screen name is listed in the notes, or shoot me a pm with your real name. If I don't get a real name, I can't upgrade your online account.
