Any reason Humpty can't be welded back together again? This came to light during the VF39 swaparooski. No idea how/when it happened. It has caused no issues (yet).

You are looking at the MP from my Maddad Stealthback from the front of the car...DP removed.

It is a hard mount - sorta trapezoidal shaped - that bolts to the frame.

    Seen better here - [IMG]

The material they used was awfully thin. It could be fixed as is, but a beefier one should be put on there.

There is a wonderful, complete 07 WRX TBE exhaust - WITH EXTRA HEAT SHIELD, YEAH! - sitting in my garage.

You can have it for the price of one cleanly shaven boy of mixed heritage with large strong hands.

No, it's still there...you can see part of it highlighted above. That piece could be unbolted from the frame and then re-welded or a thicker piece could be bent, cut, drilled what have you to replace it.

Dang, man; I was all ecstatic that MnSubaru was doing an iron pour! I thought maybe there was gonna be a skid plate or tumbleburrow forging day. Oh well...

Hope the exhaust repair goes well (anyway).

yeah but by mixed heritage he didnt mean.. GAY AND A CLOWN

    JK

that is a really easy fix.. even easier off the car...

fixed about 100 of those when I had the shop..

if you had it off the car I could maybe fix it at the dealership with my welder.. maybe even on the car on a saturday.... would take about 2 mins to weld and 5 mins to get car on lift... ha ha
