he was probably out trying to find his missing lug nuts.... tsk tsk fuji thought you were smarter then that
I had fun. I'm sorry I couldn't bring my kiddos and hang out in the family corner. Mine went to take a nap just as I was warming up the car. Plus, they're momma is STILL at work. If you want about 4 months off from seeing your spouse every year I encourage you to marry a CPA.
I had a pretty good time. It was nice to see things getting going. I think that this has the potential to be really beneficial to everyone involved. Thanks everyone - and thanks Todd for offering up the shop as a meeting place
yes sir, i do infact go there. good times were had on my part as well. thanks for hosting it... still think that raffle was shady
+1!!! I took a rough head count while we were talking, and we had about 45 people! now I just have to kick the asses of the Duluth guys to get some more of us to come down for the next one.
They told me if they win for me to bring them their tickets. But that one that I won was mine!! heheee The t-shirt ticket wasn't though. Sorry I couldnt make the first half of the meet. My Boss messed up my day off. I am FURIOUS!! But I'm glad the car made it there for everyone to see the leaky seals and no working rear disc brakes. Brembos for SHOW!!!!! I'll get things done in the next few weeks so the car can drive properly. It was great to see the members I saw! I missed out on the pizza but got some pop! See ya guys out there at Firestone!1!!!!
^ sorry for the delay.....Thanks to Joel for keeping track of this stuff. This is from the main meeting, as well as the mod/task force meeting before hand. March 29th was meeting #1. Meeting #2 will be on April 24th also held at Identifix. - ID cards will be done by this date. We will be taking money for club membership, $10 for one year and they get a membership card. - ID cards will have logo, no name for now, two writeable areas on the back of card as well as a sequential number. Card will be filled out with username/realname at time of transaction. Cards can be used for several years, when renewing the member will get a new sticker for that year to add to the card. There will also be an online database to look up the status of a member. - We'll want to have something set up for remote members to sign up/pay online and mail them their card. The purpose of paying is to get a group of members who are able to vote. Meetings #3 and #4 will be held to nominate and introduce members who want to run for positions in the club. We'll want to have the positions well defined by this time. Meeting #5 will be when the voting takes place. Meeting #6 (around the end of the year) will introduce the new leadership. New leaders will take over in Jan 2009. Terms will be 18 months, 6 months as position-elect, 12 months by themselves. Russ (wrx1) was appointed by a hand vote to be interim treasurer until Jan 2009 when the new leadership takes over. Future treasurers will have longer terms than one year, 2 or possible 3 years to avoid turnover. Details about future meetings and progress are being worked out. but that's a great general list.
^^ Yup, I have the shop from 7pm to 9pm. Subject jump: I think we should add a food element to future meetings. Some kind of Pot luck?
I like give thanks to the board members for moving in the right direction. Its an important first step, lets stay focused and motivated in making this a reality. I would like to buy 2 maybe three memberships for family members.
Is that right for the 24th? I really need to make the meeting this tin an meet up and meet some people so I gotta get off both jobs so I can make it
