MNSubaru.com - 10 years and counting

First off, I would like to wish everyone in the MNSubaru community a happy new year. And with the new year it pushes us into a very small group who can claim such a HUGE achievement.

10 years online.

There have been many ups and downs along the way, but we have made it. I would like to thank all the past and present mods/admins that have helped keep us online and rolling as long as we have. I would like to also hand out a special thanks to those members that have stuck it out with us. Without you guys/gals, MNSubaru would not be the place that it is. So again, thanks you.

So now, moving forward.

Since this is our 10 year anniversary, we hope to have a couple of large events and really try to give back to the community that has kept us alive.

1st up will be another member appreciation night. We are still working out dates and a location, but as more event details get hammered out we will be posting them.

Thanks again to everyone who has help keep us online and to those that are continuing to help keep us online and the community growing.

You said the site was going to implode at the 10 year mark. This is more disappointing than y2k.

 

If you had asked me 7 or 8 years ago if this place would still be here at the 10 year mark, I would probably have said "no." But if you had asked me then if I thought I'd be a moderator here, I'd have also said "no." And like it was said above, this place hasn't changed much in 10 years. It gets better every year, but the overall feel is the same.

Congrats everyone. Past and present, and all the future members that will come to enjoy this place for a number of years. Cheers to a decade of MNSubaru.
