    I haven't gotten mine yet either, so don't feel bad. I was told I would get mine on Monday.

    Nice numbers by the way guys!
    I know they are just numbers, but how would a 07 wrx get the same torque as mine? Just curious and maybe a little jealous too! ;)

    Torque is inversely related to RPM. The same amount of power at a lower RPM will generate more torque. Due to their quick spool, TD04's are torque monsters on the 2.5L.

    Interesting graphs, guys. Looks like MAP's dynojet isn't reading as high as some other dynojet's I've seen (which is good!). Also looks like there were some issues with heatsoak on the later runs.

    Ah yea, I suppose that makes sense. I wish my first pull was acurate! 370tq ftw!

    It would be nice if MAP picked up an tmic fan for those of us with tops. Heat soak wouldn't be so much of an issue then.

    Any of you tuner types have a suggestion for more tq (graph is a few posts up) I'm guessing it must be in the tune as I was the only STi with an ots tune.(?) Just curious even though I am happy with the way car feels and it appears to be strong in the hp area.

    It's not a boost spike, it's a boost bounce back down after the car hits targets. If I was at home, I'd post up the boost curve on the last run. IIRC, it's about a .5 PSI swing, although the car was showing a flat load curve and was quite smooth. I guess this was after a bunch of runs when the car was warm, though. However, the WGDC's could use a little more TLC, but Dave and I were already long on tuning time after fixing all his BCS routing issues :eek3:.

    My dyno...09 FXT

    I am doing some beta testing for Cobb. I went to MAP on Monday night and got a couple dyno pulls in. This is a Stage 1 93 octane map from Christian compared to stock;

    ALL 09 fxts are autos, that would be the reason for the low #ss

    you are correct sir.....almost.

    All US 09 FXT's are auto's, however, you can get 09 FXT's with the 5mt in other countries. Here is a dyno plot of one from OZ;
    http://www.subaruforester.org/vbulletin/496468-post108.html
    Notice the different powerbands, the tranny has a huge impact not only on total power output, but the curve also.

    I was out this weekend with my friend in his STI, we did some hilly & curvy roads south of EC. We lined up 3 times also....it was a good time.

    What are stock 08 STI's putting down on a dynojet?

    DB tuning

    hey, back in 2006, I took my 05 STI to DB for a tune. I went in with a Cobb catless downpipe necking down to a 2-1/2" "Choke"Master(flowmaster) catback. After 20 dyno pulls and a boat-load of fruststration caused from an inability to control boost, we ditched the factory EBC and tuned it with a MBC. Then we cut off the muffler, made 6 more pulls and finished fine tuning. They were able to extract about 18hp and 25ftlbs on top of the Cobb Stage 2 OTS map.
    Before custom tuning:

    I then drove home and went to my buddies shop. We trimmed off the end of the Cobb downpipe and built a full 3" Magnaflow catback. I never got it re-tuned or dyno'd, but it made a ton more power. It hauled my bigAZZ down rock-falls in the high 12's.

    Went to MAP today to baseline my 08 and compare to DB dyno. I got 261whp and 266lbtq on MAP dyno and only 240/250 on DB. Was hoping for 270+ whp but came up a little short. I am running 18G with 650cc injectors and AVO TMIC with Shane tuned Cobb AP map. The numbers are at 18psi, but planning to go 20-21 when I get my GMBCS put in. Hoping for 280+ at 21psi in the spring.
