i just saw a entry on either engadget or lifehacker about using a can of compressed air and a hairdryer their steps heat it up turn can upside down freeze zone for about 10 seconds straight watch the dent pop out don't know if i'd do it but it seems to work from the video
Yeah, I'd love to have a local PDR contact. I've already done two and I've only owned my car for a year.
I sell tires. I can get just about anything in terms of tires and wheels. If you know what you want pm me and I can get you a price. Otherwise give me a call at 651-633-2244 ask for Tim
tires? Alright here is what I'm looking for Falken Azenis RT-615 245/40/18. Can you work some magic on a set of four. Mount, bal, stems not needed just the rubber. The best I can come up with is $660 to my door. Oh and these are needed in the next ten days or so. Lemme know if you can work some sorta deal. Thanks -Ben Feel free to PM me I thought thats what I was sending you but this sholud work just as well.
I tried to find them cheaper today. A price of 660 shipped is a steal on those tires. I'd say just go ahead and order from them. I tried 4 different suppliers and it all ended up being more than that. Sorry man, I wish I could've been more help.
I'm helping! I'm pretty handy with wrenching or doing electrical (Automotive). I work for Geek Squad and Discount Tire and I'm decent with computers. Always willing to lend a hand. Oh, and I can order pizzas like nobody's business.
The real Macguiver I do a little bit of everything. I can do just about any remodeling work, some electrical, and the occasional furniture repair. I can fix any computer or build you a smokin' fast one for way less than if you went to best buy or Dell. Networking and software troubleshooting too. I'm about to have my degree in economics and business management, and a second degree in international business. Not that they would really be all that helpful for any of you, but I could use an internship this fall. Oh, and btw, I'm in construction and I spell just fine
Subie Tech any good recommendations on a reliable place or person who nows subie very good? ie parts installations, removals, etc....subie stuff
I work with Soundproofing and Acoustical products. We carry acoustical panels for tuning a room as well as pretty much every construction grade product for "soundproofing" a room (floor, walls, ceilings). We are one of, if not the largest soundproofing and acoustical product providers in the country, so if you need anything, let me know. I would be happy to advise you on what to put in, and how to install it yourself along with giving you the best deal that I possibly can. Also, I posted in the off-topic area that I have a good friend in the steel / aluminum industry. Let me know if you have quesitons: [email protected] web: www.acousticalsurfaces.com
So when I bring someone to my place I can beat the crap out of them and no one can hear them scream for HELP! Awesome! Plus if and when I get an actual house i'd hit that "soundproofing" for my home theater area...! Thanx Gridlock
I have a full service shop available in Fargo, and I do all sorts of things very inexpensively. Everything from Engine swaps (the mechanical aspects) (~$200 and done in 4 hours) to Hanging Exhausts ($20 15min). I can do any sort of tire mounting, balancing, alignments (and I don't nick your pretty rims). Full suspension swaps including building Strut spring combos and installation (under 2 hours) Other minor stuff. Side note: I do not Paint or pull body panels. I'm in moorhead.
Your telling me . . . Oh yeah!! If everything works out I may soon be the proud owner of a Mandrel bender....more on this in august.
I dunno if I got any useful hookups for you guys but I have my certificate in Apparel Technologies, so I can do alterations for cheap... lol I dunno if anyone would need this but I thought I'd post. It definetly is better than paying 10-15 for a pant hem in the stores, I'd probably charge 5. I can do other alterations too, just let me know.
Im going to ask this again since its been a while. Anyone work at Best Buy, Ultimate Electronics, or Curcuit City? Im in need of a new TV and looking at LCD and Plasmas. Deals would be good. Anyone>? Thanks Dave
I used to work there, a TV might be hard to swing. Also, I heard that they are cutting the discount benefit down again, so the employees can't get more than 50% off of a product.
I can build computers, all i need to know is the budget and i can make the highest performance possible for that price. Its something I enjoy doing so I'll do the labor for close to nothing.
Uhllo all. Just got my account activated so I thought I'd let you all know I'm an installer over at Best Buy. (mobile audio/video)
